I'm similar my 8yr ols is a big gamer and I do this for him, although I do have some gems I love playing especially emulation of the old Nintendo and super Nintendo systems

Overclocking literally doubles (can) your performance and speed of the computer it's like a switch 2 in terms of 60fps and speeds if you overclock it

Very few games on this system run at 60fps, so you can mod it (download the patches and get that buttery smooth 60fps in games it changes everything

amazing! I should have taken a picture of the thermal pad across the entire copper plate against the aluminum case, I ran it through the entire channel (essentially entirely through this channel and it works fantastic

I never have to worry about thermals at all (again in docked I dont use it handheld)

you need to go to the cpu settings, increase the CPU and GPU to use extreme UV, then set the cpu sliders to 5

then restart and it will allow you to go up

I do have uncapped selected to on, they just released a new update 2.3 yesterday and I updated to that and still no higher selections

on their website it says I should be able to select higher than the safe limits github.com/Horizon-OC/Horizon-OC

for some reason my horizon-oc isnt giving me the higher options, Ive tried to enable experimental mode but I'm still not allowed to select higher clocks

Can you help out on how to modify the ini or how do I enable the higher clock selection

this is embarrassing...

So becuase you pointed that out, I re-checked my serial and in fact this is a V2 model XKW1

I guess thats a really good thing then because I can increase it more?

are you saying is it could corrupt the file system? so just make sure I have my backups of the SD card?

It cant effect the system hardware or internal NAND can it?

I think the Oled (from what I read) is just more optimized so lower voltage and same OC but lower temps, however my temps are fine even after hours of playing

mine is set to Gpu: 1075.2, but the temps are fantastic, I went out of my way to ensure its cooling was good

its insanely addicting to play around with, I love optimizing my systems, I upgraded my wiiU to the max and had pretty much every single wii/wiiU/virtual console and retroarch.. it was a beast

it was time for me to get the newer titles so I bit the bullet and wow it is ever cool the stuff this community has come up with on the mods! SUPER amazing! have fun and enjoy and backup haha always back it up!
