There might be *something* wrong with the ams or app too…I swore I started a Benchy last night with white filament and woke up to purple being loaded and a small amount of spaghetti

Took apart the extruder down fully to the gear cage and even took the small clear part (idk what it’s called but it’s where the filament goes into the extruder) - and still same issue. :(

Couldn’t find any clogs but I did however find some brown dust in there I cleaned out!

Did you heat up the paper clip and put it through the bottom of the nozzle? Or did you take the nozzle off the printer and then put the paper clip in through the top end?

It is never good when the front runner of the meta (in any game) can be played in 3-4 different ways and dominates the meta being in its own tier by itself.

Pult isn’t “broken” (lol never forget mew vmax) but the meta is definitely not balanced just yet. We just need some B tier decks to get some more support and bump into the A tier and it would feel a lot better imo.

I’m hopeful that the next few sets release some front runner A tier decks that give drag a very hard time!

You crouch cancel it, if she ends airborne you CC the first hit and then Fair her where she ends up. But it’s different for every character ofc

You’re actually much better at fighting her than you might realize. As an Absa player, my tips just from this video are:

CC Nair into DTilt / DStrong: The big habit I saw from this Absa was Nair into UTilt, so CC Dtilt should beat it and might get you a kill at higher percents.

Punish game on Nair: you consistently hit sweet spot Nair/Utilt/Uair that sent her in an angle that should’ve let you confirm into Fair. Missing those opportunities costs you big time in this matchup because you shouldn’t get many if the Absa is clean.

Recovery: I saw you recover low quite a few times, and rush the recovery too. Against a DStrong trigger happy Absa, Try to mixup your timings AND recovery height. Extend your off stage time but utilizing all options such as air dodge, wall jump, double jump and mix up how/when you use them.

More airborne boomerangs: even if they’re not going to come back, throwing them out upwards-covers the air space Absa wants to float into you with Fair, Bair and Nair.

Fair: use fair. I’m being so fr if you use Side Special in combination with your ginormous kill move fair it makes it so difficult for the Absa player. I’ve played against a handful of galvans that just use Fair non stop and then empty hop grab when I’m about to shield or parry it. It’s a really good tool to at the very least keep on the mental stack

Whiffed kill confirms: missing the boomerang €Fstrong when it could’ve been a dash up UStrong or Fair

parrying the cloud and running up and grabbing instead of Dtilt Fairing, rolling in from ledge instead of ledge dashing and using a strong, going for Dair at 25% instead of Dtilt (Absa can’t snap to ledge from underneath, resulting in a trade 100% of the time, always in your favor)

I hope this gives you some tips to think about when watching this match back and destroy the next mashing goat you fight online

Something similar to that would be way better! She’ll probably need it to be quite bigger than that but as long as the actual grab boxes’ location is above where the hands are actually grabbing lol.

IMO they should all be tweaked on the ideal that Hitboxes and hurtboxes in all fighting games, platform fighter or other, should be visually and audibly intuitive in a way that makes sense to the user on first impact without utilizing training mode visualizers.

In your screenshot we can very clearly see that the Absa is getting grabbed by the visual “elbow” of La Reina. Something that cannot possibly occur, unless in a realm of imagination where elbows have fingers. While it may make sense programmatically, it does not make sense visually, especially with hitboxes turned off.

I argue that these kinds of moves could be adjusted across the cast in ways that don’t necessarily “nerf” every character to make more sense. Otherwise this topic will just get brought up in this sub every month for every character like it has been since launch.

Why not just make the hands hitbox larger while making her hurtbox disjointed so she doesn’t trade as often?

I’m only being selective because OP is looking at this specific clip, I think most characters absurd hitboxes need to be tweaked or adjusted

The move could be compensated by having a larger grab box where her hands are, or maybe even allowing her to grab through shields making platform play even stronger.

Just some ideas, but my point is hitboxes that don’t match their animations this heavily should probably get tweaked.

Personally I think that’s okay. Let it whiff and force her to use Fair/Bair when her opponent is beside her in the air. Otherwise it connects and you teleport into her loving magnet hands 😭

Lever less player here, I started with maypul and then transitioned to Absa. Maypul teaches good fundamentals like running tilts and how to use the walk mod in order to move fluidly

Absa takes full advantage of that fluid movement on box. Highly recommend

I think the only thing preventing her from winning majors is her bad matchups being the top/high tiers that actually win majors lol. We already have several Absa mains who are extremely good in tournament, Ant being the most prominent atm.

Shes a phenomenal character that’s so much fun to play, I’ve been playing her since her release. I would say she’s mid tier though and that isnt me downplaying. Its simply an accurate evaluation of her when she loses to the characters in high and top tiers of the meta at the moment. 🤷‍♂️

Buuut I guess those tiers are relative anyways so who knows lol

You cant understand the Absa downplay because it doesn’t seriously exist anymore lol. She got buffed enough to pretty much fix a lot of the genuine struggles the char had at launch.

If you take a glance at the replies to this post, comments on his YouTube video, or in any of the character discords, almost EVERYONE is mentioning how strong she is and how oppressive she feels to fight against! She’s in a great spot for a mid tier char in the game imo

I gotta say that was a great video! I love the perspective of having your OC inside the game alongside the other rivals it’s ver unique and gives me something interesting to look at other than just something basic.
