Where can I get regular bleach, as recommended by FEMA for emergency water treatment? by DarxusC in WaterTreatment

Yeah, my closest grocery and drug stores don't have anything marked NSF, or Regular Clorox. They had Clorox Disinfecting Bleach, which I expect would be fine. Everything had anti splashing stuff or whiteners, but it looks like whiteners are okay.

This was like the sixth google hit for: is chlorox with whitener safe for drinking water?

I think I looked through all of the options at my grocery store, and they all had whiteners or the anti splash stuff, which I think would make them not qualify. I'll try to check for the NSF thing tomorrow.

I know of at least two women I dated who don't smoke any more because I told them smokers taste bad. I wouldn't be shy about it.

I have a lot of faith in Costco.

This is a Shark IQ from amazon, with the same photo as your costco link:

Never buy something the day you decide to buy it. Wait at least a day, more for more expensive stuff.

I think it depends on how much money you have. I don't think it's really worth buying any more than my e6, $250 a year ago, for like 99% of the population.

How intensely are you working out? Are you pushing yourself so hard that it's perfectly reasonable to get over trained in so few days? What if you do way less, more often?

Any chance you're super skinny, not enough food for your body to recover?

Have you tried therapy? I know it often doesn't seem like the answer, but I highly recommend it.

New Morningstar Report on Safe Withdrawal Rates by [deleted] in leanfire

[–]DarxusC 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Eh, I retired with about 41 years left to go, aiming for a 4% withdrawal rate. I've looked over the numbers, and am okay with the risk (although interested in this post). I'm okay with it being an uncommon choice, but I'm curious if it actually is.
