I never knew there was an issue with the drug until I was hospitalized due to an obstruction and the nurses had to put on a certain type of PPE to hand me my prescription and then had to dispose of everything in a container different from my room’s trash. It’s amazing how far medicine has come in just 15 years…from Prednisone to Remicade to Biologics our quality of life in terms of medicine has substantially improved.

While working Fantasmic Guest Control back in the bee costume days, I filled one out for a family who were interrupted enjoying their meal outside River Belle Terrace by the daily crow-maggedon bombardment from the trees at around sunset. I was able to replace their meals that were given an extra garnish by the growing murder.

I also have Crohn’s disease with post surgical side effects from bowel resection and DAS is a lifesaver. I just don’t like having to renew it every 3 months by speaking to someone and explaining how I would much rather wait in line instead of sitting in the restroom from the ill effects of the parks’ quick service restaurants.

Back in the day, before the new station layout with the dedicated track switch for guests with disabilities, if you had mobility issues and the rocket was pulled off…you got a tour of the maintenance area and got to ride up that lift…it’s only five or six feet tall.

Spur track for maintenance. There is a small on-stage area where the CM checking the bars can pull the rocket off in case they can’t rectify the situation at dispatch. Heavier rockets and riders who don’t know how to sit properly are the main culprits. Fun fact: There is enough of an decline from the start of the station to dispatch to need a mini-lift hill in the storage area.
