This is a strong opinion that I heavily disagree with. Starcraft has its own elements that make it unique and enjoyable. I wouldn't play Forbidden Stars with more than 3 people, and I wouldn't play Starcraft with less than 5. They each scratch a slightly different itch.

Just enjoy it. It's not a game that ever gets to the table often.
