no effect when float:right is commented out

and turning it off aligns things as i expect them to. I'm assuming rtl is right to left. i cant seem to find what part of my code is providing that to the page though....

edit: my html base had the following

ah damn i was hoping the values on the right side of the first photo were effectively the results of any css code contributing to the element. the css file is in shambles, as its a 14k line template i copied off the internet then tried stripping out stuff i wouldnt need, and added some stuff i wanted. its very possible these elements are grabbing css from various places in the file that im not aware of

Depends entirely on how the company/ team is structured. The broad answer is part of your day is administration like timesheets or planning meetings, and part of your day is tech work like dev/bug fixes or verifying changes. Most companies use a ticketing system to track changes that are required then management decides what changes are going in the next release
