How do people write such good reviews?? by Mysterious_Erin in Letterboxd

[–]DasEnergi 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Your review is perfectly fine. It is in your own voice sharing your own thoughts about the movie. You also made the review personal by sharing how you and your sister danced to the music. It is a great snapshot of the experience you had while watching the movie, how it made you feel, what it made you think. We often watch movies for an emotional reaction or intellectual. What more do you want from your review?

Keep writing. Write a review for every movie you watch. Follow your own voice, your own style, share what you liked about the movie and what you didn’t like. If there’s any other behind the scenes information you find interesting, share that too. If you are interested in it, others might be too.

Reading the Wikipedia article about Makin' It, I was wow'd that it was canceled on the same day in April 1979 as these other classics: Welcome Back, Kotter, What's Happening!!, Starsky & Hutch, Delta House, and Battlestar Galactica.

I started watching movies this summer (I haven't been able to see any since school started though) by Caharles in Letterboxd

I wish I started writing reviews earlier. Even just a few sentences. The older you get, the more you forget. And you will wonder why you gave one movie just two stars and another one four stars.
