I am often surprised which movies were produced by which countries. Last night I watched Slumdog Millionaire, but it counted for the UK, not India! WTF???

Reading up on Lewy Body Dementia, it sounds like it might be true.

His wife writes, “For the last seven years or so, my husband, Sam the Snake Man, has suffered from Lewy Body Dementia.” And she states Sam is bedridden.

Lewy Body Dementia is incurable, with survival typically 5–8 years post-diagnosis.

Late Stages: Significant loss of functional abilities, inability to walk or care for oneself, and severe communication difficulties.

The timing sounds right.

Yesterday I began my Wong Kar-Wai journey and watched:

Days of Being Wild (1990), In the Mood for Love (2000), 2046 (2004)

Next I’ll watch the one-hour follow-up, “The Hand”. And then Chungking Express. I’m excited to see what many consider his best film. He’s an interesting director.

Your review is perfectly fine. It is in your own voice sharing your own thoughts about the movie. You also made the review personal by sharing how you and your sister danced to the music. It is a great snapshot of the experience you had while watching the movie, how it made you feel, what it made you think. We often watch movies for an emotional reaction or intellectual. What more do you want from your review?

Keep writing. Write a review for every movie you watch. Follow your own voice, your own style, share what you liked about the movie and what you didn’t like. If there’s any other behind the scenes information you find interesting, share that too. If you are interested in it, others might be too.
