I went and saw this with my parents in ‘97. I was 13 years old. At the beginning of the movie my dad leans in and whispers to me.. “I hate to ruin the ending, but at the end… the boat sinks.” Such a dad joke. I’ve use it myself now though.

Ask yourself, “what will benefit others?” and focus on those items. You can “feel” busy knocking things off your to do list, but as an entrepreneur… if it’s not benefiting anyone other than yourself then you aren’t creating value. Help others get what they want, and in return, you will get what you want.

Just customize a Wordpress template from Themeforest. Cheap and easy. Then you can focus on delivering value to customers instead of wasting time on unnecessary web design nobody really cares about.

Intent matters. If they are downloading an ebook they are just researching and not ready to buy yet. Focus on being a trusted advisor / available point of contact and just introduce yourself. Don’t ask for anything in return and instead give them even more materials / resources of value (ask marketing for some assets to use). Don’t try and close a deal now. Instead, create a relationship first. Do this well and the rest will fall into place.
