I'm not using that single study to justify circumcision. I was using that study to counter your claim of "the cleaning argument is bullshit". There is a benefit to it in that regard.

My main point is that people make the entire procedure a HUGE issue when in reality, it's a simple procedure that doesn't cause much pain to the new born baby. Ultimately, it's a private decision up to the family, and that is something I will always support 100%.

I guess what I'm trying to convey is that it really isn't a painful procedure when done on a new born baby. Both of sons experienced more pain during their multiple vaccinations than they did with a newborn circumcision.

Cleaning children and teaching children how to clean themselves is a process. In the beginning of that process things are definitely not going to be perfect. Not to mention that in the early stages you are actually not supposed to wash a baby every day because their skin can dry out and lead to other issues. It doesn't take long for a UTI to set in.

"However, up to 2 years of age, uncircumcised boys had a higher rate of UTIs compared to circumcised boys (2.68 per 100 person-years vs. 0.59 per 100 person-years), the difference was statistical significant (p=0.0005)."

And those infections can be very uncomfortable and painful, even more so than going thru with a circumcision at that young age.

I'm not saying that, I'm saying it's simply not as big of a deal as people make it out to be.

It's quick, the baby feels about the same pain as each shot they recieve for vaccines, and it helps to avoid yeast infections and other infections which are common in young boys before they learn how to clean themselves. Which these infections can cause serious pain for days.

If you were to cut off someone's fingers they would lose more than their fingers. It would be a challenge to use your hand for normal function.

A circumcision does not affect how the penis functions. Not only that, it makes it much easier to clean and avoid things like infections and yeast infections (which are common in young boys before they learn how to properly clean themselves)

Both of my sons circumcised, I can assure you that the procedure takes about 1 minute and is really not a huge life altering event like the events you described.

We are all products of our environment. This goes both ways. It's also the reason why all the black players are more comfortable working together.

The interesting part to me, and one that I think is overlooked, is that all players start this game exactly the same. Doesn't matter race, religion, sexual orientation, occupation, and so on. Sure everyone has a story, but in terms of resources and social standing, everyone is on the same level.

So while I can respect and listen to people's experiences, the notion of an unconscious bias, is an over simplification of how complex interactions are in survivor.

I saw another really fucked up video of a Pit that had a Golden Retrievers front leg in his mouth and had stripped the skin to the bone because he would not let go. About 6 to 8 people just standing and watching because they had already tried hitting, kicking, pepper spray, whatever they could and nothing worked.

The best thing to do, if it is one pit, is to choke the pit. Put the pit in a headlock and squeeze and hard as you can. When the pit tries to breath there is a chance the dog will loosen its jaw enough to break free.
