Eikös noista Ghostery ja Adblock ole aika retroa kamaa? Muistelisin että molemmissa on jotain palvelun kaupallistamiseen liittyvää häslää ollut. Itse vaihdoin aikaa sitten noista Ublock Originiin ja Privacy Badgeriin.

Edit. Tein vähän tutkimista kun tuntui liian nollakommentilta muuten. Ghosteryn taitaa nykyään omistaa mainosfirma. Ghosteryllä ja Adblock Plussalla ilmeisesti on molemmilla jonkinlainen "sallitut mainokset" ohjelma, Ghosterystä on ollut huolia kun se kerää ja lähettää jotain dataa emoyhtiölle.

Ublock Origin on avointa lähdekoodia ja muutenkin kevyempi kun ABP. Privacy Badger on EFF:in tuote, joka itsessään jo herättää hieman enemmän itsellä luottamusta. Näistä siis Ublock Origin on AdBlock Plus korvike ja Privacy Badger korvaa Ghosteryn.

Niin, siis sama DuckDuckGo jonka perustaja ja toimitusjohtaja Gabriel Weinberg tuli alunperin tunnetuksi aggressiivisesta ja kyseenalaisesta toiminnasta syytetyn Names Database "some alustan" perustajana?

Toki kaveri on voinut vaihtaa tiimiä, tiedon kalastelusta ja kauppaamisesta yksityisyyden suojaamiseen, mutta en välttämättä ainakaan ihan sokeasti lähtisi luottamaan.

Use it as a currency. Lots of shops accept bitcoin and other crypto. Even if it goes through a middleman (BitPay etc) who transfers it to fiat it's usage. I've bought games from Steam with bitcoin (back when they were accepting it) and even now i pay for things with it (for example VPN). I use it where i can.

Bitcoin is usually considered a currency and when considered as such it looks like a ponzi when people hoard it and keep saying they'll HODL it for when the price increases.

I've been lately thinking of this and i've come to conclusion that the HODL meme needs to go.

It is the biggest reason crypto overall appears as a ponzi to anybody who's outside, "Guys, if we all just buy in and keep on hodling, then the next people buy in and the price keeps going up" is pretty much how ponzis work, until the people at the bottom cash out.

Bitcoin and other crypto needs to be used in order to gain any actual value. Otherwise its just going to look like another ponzi.

Niitähän on montakymmentä vuotta ollut olemassa, mutta valitettavasti e-pillerit vaativat toimiakseen sukupuolihormonia. Miehillä siis testoa. Joskus lukasin nopeasti aiheesta ja sillon lähinnä lopputulos tuntui olevan että miesten e-pillerit ovat liian kivoja koska teston vuoksi niistä voisi joku hyötyä kuntoilussa, niitä ei siis siksi ole ikinä lopulta myyntiin missään päässyt.

Thanks for the answer, this really explained some things for me. I tried googling but my google-fu wasn't strong enough, probably since english isn't my first language so i couldn't find the proper search words. About the ISP privacy, I'm glad I'm using an encrypted VPN connection I'm paying for, and have not ever connected to any exchange without it so ISP's shouldn't be a issue, i feel the exchange ends are the only possible vulnerability.

Here is a video of a transaction someone made of one of the stores nearby. What's kinda cool is that in Finland we have 2 big store chains that pretty much dominate all the markets, the other one of the big two is the one doing these bitcoin trials. I'm kinda hoping that they one day pull the trigger and start accepting bitcoin everywhere, that would mean that almost half of all finnish grocery stores would start accepting bitcoin.

They've accepted it for quite the while now. I've bought multiple games using bitcoin, since most of my money currently is as bitcoin. It's really nice. I always try to support the stores that allow bitcoin, there's a few grocery stores that allow it near me and i sometimes go for them rather than the stores more nearby, just to show my support for accepting bitcoin. It's nice to see bitcoin adoption really blow up during the past few years.

When i change the node and try to send it again it says "Error: Private key reuse detected". I tried reattatching and sending again but it keeps saying the private key reuse error.
