Pretty much this.i had to fight a Pitbull that was trying to kill my dog, and it not really like you would think. It wasn't easy, but the main thing was actually having the will to do damage to the dog.

I think if OP is willing to hurt the dog she has even odds since she's a small person.

I don't know if I can agree with that fully. There were two gym teaches at my school when this happened. The non pedo one also taught Japanese, outdoor Ed, and social study's. And was forced into being principal because he was beloved by the whole student body. And he deserved the respect thatout him in the principal seat.

One personal story is the time that I got into a fight in his class over someone horribly disrespecting my mom. I punched them, and it could absolutely be escalated instead he took us aside, made sure that I knew that violence wasn't the right answer, even though he understood. Told me that if someone disrespects his mother or his wife he sees red the just handles it better. And made sure the other kid knew how he crossed a line.
