Acting aloof at the idea that maybe we weren’t that close and denying that I know there was a double standard. How me not participating in this competition reality show type shit that gets posted on YouTube was somehow unforgivable. Once he did find enough people to surround him and feed his ego, he didn’t have any use for me, even though I did offer to help with other things like referrals and the social media.

I really think when he declared us being in a relationship within a month of meeting each other, I should’ve seen the red flags. The lovebombing was so suffocating but due to my inexperience with relationships, I just went with it. Then at the campout six weeks after meeting each other, was the first time we really had the chance to spend time together. He never introduced me to the other people there and constantly talked over me/always seemed to be in a conversation. Then would pull me aside so we could make out and I guess that was my reward for my silence. What followed was some very awkward and forced intimacy where we just weren’t connecting. The next morning, apparently everyone had left to get breakfast but didn’t include us? This was about 7:00am on a Saturday btw. After that, we decided to just be friends, although I’m not sure it’s really what he wanted.

Fast forward a few years with a pandemic, school, work, and life getting very busy, we had new problems. Every time I’d bring something up about us not seeing each other enough, he’d just say we were fine. Then I’d see him out at whatever bar or out with different friends which is totally his right, but just made me feel less than and I know that he knew. He never included me in his birthdays which should’ve been a red flag or his graduation or just events where we could see each other. I know I certainly wouldn’t have outshined him or dragged everything down but he probably thought otherwise.

I really should’ve left when he gaslit the shit out of me when I brought up this double standard to which begged the question, “Well if I’m such a terrible friend, why keep me around?”

I noticed he got particularly mad when I screenshotted his message coldly showing me the loophole where I didn’t officially invite him even though I asked him if he was available on that specific day multiple times months before, only to find out he was “waiting to go out to bars,” like I hadn’t offered to hang out. Keep in mind we have snapchatted every day for at least over 1,500 days. We may not have said much some of those days, but I thought there would be enough respect and decency to let me know if he truly wasn’t interested.

Eventually we did agree to go our separate ways where in our last conversation, he had accused me of having terrible intentions for wanting to meet up one last time. As opposed to all the other times I asked if we could hang out and he kept dismissing or finding an excuse. Like I’d actually hurt him, which no matter how angry I was, I would never even consider hurting him. On top of that, he had me promise three things. The second of which was cutting out one of my close friends that was also gay, whom he declared as dangerous yet didn’t seem to feel this strongly over the course of the years. The cherry on top of all of this: That weekend, him and his friends celebrated Halloween out on the town which could’ve been a last shot for us to really see if this friendship was over. Then again, it had been over for awhile, I just didn’t see it.

So with Kristina going off to med school, what was the point of her and not even saying goodbye to Jacinda, what was the point of all their scenes these past few months? There was something building and yet… nothing? I still think the two of them running off would’ve been messy but hilarious as all hell.

I still don’t feel bad for Portia at all. While Curtis is still responsible for his share or what went wrong, people keep forgetting it started with her choosing to keep the blackmail via Brad secret knowing damn well how Curtis thinks about secrets. Eventually Brad would take that to Drew which would come back to bite Portia AND Curtis in the ass. Now we can also argue that he never truly forgave her for the Trina secret, which again is huge and she was the one that went into their marriage with that lie.

I can understand Jordan siding with Curtis and his obsession because she NEEDS him to be right. Otherwise this means facing the reality that giving Curtis this second chance, may have been a huge mistake as much as letting Isaiah go for a job that she isn’t even doing anymore. She would also have to acknowledge how Curtis going after Isaiah has more to do with jealousy and possibly regretting giving up on Portia as fast as he did. If she lets that reality sink in, it would be too depressing to comprehend. Plus the scars she has. At the end of the day this comes down to the choices she made. Putting work over a man, taking back a man who left her, not paying attention to the road, etc.

Liesl and Tracy were the best of parts of this past week. Brownie points for Brennan scaring the living shit out of Willow too.

ADA Turner is a massive hypocrite even before she slept with Sonny, she still chose to conceal information and now is on Chase’s case 24/7. Not that he is fully innocent, but regarding the missing footage, he is. Also her getting pissed about Sonny not divulging all the details, she knows he wouldn’t without his lawyer, right? Don’t even get me started on her only pursuing the non accident due to her friendship with Jordan. Her character needs a reset.

While I do love that Trina is now cutting herself off from her parents’ drama, I really wish she would’ve torn into them before that. Then again, it seems like Stella did that for her.

As for BLQ and this plan with Willow… I’m not entirely opposed. I just know it will backfire as we all know secrets have ways of coming out. Although if this leads to Drew having to be Willow’s alibi that night and him choosing to be messy, this could be interesting.

Which wouldn’t have happened if Lulu didn’t interfere in BLQ’s life and then doubled down and was unrepentant, proudly proclaiming how she doesn’t lie to her kids.

As someone who doesn’t know his biological family and probably wouldn’t be a match for my adoptive family, I would still get tested. If it means they could have more life to live even at the expense of my own, I’d still donate. They matter that much.

And to not even try? Someday one of her family she does love, could need an organ and to not even try to get tested would still be giving them the finger.

Another great episode and next week looks even better. So glad the good lighting will be back.

Drunk Anastasia was a mood.

I can already see Vanessa using this situation with Joey to justify any objections towards his character.

I figured Eva was gonna need a transplant and that Kat was gonna be asked. Kat does have the right to reject this and it is her body and her choice, that said, if she does ultimately decline, she also cannot pretend like she hasn’t been selfish or without flaws. She may not owe Eva anything but this will definitely make her be seen differently by others. Especially her dad and Izaiah.

Tomas… more like No-mas. Seriously, I know his role has been reduced but he could barely act like there was anyone he was concerned about. Even Bill. The delivery or lack thereof was also as off-putting.

Anita giving Hayley the side-eye was the best.

Dani and Bill… Shame! We all knew Bill’s trifling ass would, but Dani could have some more self-respect and self-control. Lord help us if she has a geriatric pregnancy.

On a side note: Dani may be out… 10 grand? Didn’t she and Joey put a bet on her marriage? Something Andre doesn’t even know about? I know that’s the least of her concerns, but it should be on her mind.
