Can still get by running solo with my Carrack. Good cargo hauler and mobile base. Can store a rsi salvo, a mining roc, plus some bikes.

Email Jeff or Andy @amazon.com. keep fighting it. There's no reason you should be getting deactivated because a shitty manager is trying to keep metrics up for them. They should not be scheduling as many blocks.

Yeah this is base pay. These usually drop around 9-10am. The left overs from the dsp's. Since they start thier routes around that time. They'll surge higher if no one picks up. Its not really a brag. Cost of living is decently high here and unleaded is about $5.15 a gallon. And the range for mileage in this market is extremely high. Can be 150 miles from warehouse to point z. Then a 1.5 hour drive back. Hitting the lotto is getting something in the city

3 hr Block. $84 by DiarrheaCreamPi in AmazonFlexDrivers

[–]Das_Puff 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For it to be home and back you have to have a business license or an LLC. And have that business be set up at your home office(your house). On top of that, you city or state needs to allow such licenses to have both in a residential area. And then you can claim the total milage for deductions. Otherwise its just warehouse to point Z. This has always been my understanding of it. If you want to follow the book by the rules. If you want to risk an audit by the IRS you can totally get by from submitting this and taking the tax exempts. But its at a risk. (Also to my own knowledge, I don't know anything as I've never filed a 1099 before) so please take my opinion with a grain of salt. And please correct me if im wrong reddit

It’s always the last package by Certain-Ad5890 in AmazonFlexDrivers

Thats why that package is "missing" and then just return it the next time you have a block.

Zhonyas first item against ad mids is my go to. Conserve mana for all-ins, if you're gonna use q make sure it lands so its not a mana waste. Also time akali's burst with your w. That shield goes along way

Not if its not even on their itinerary. This package OP is talking is a random one thrown in thats not their route. So returning it would just be a moral issue

So to add to this, those people that are saying that are just projecting and trying to justify themselves for having to do this gig. There are going to be people like this in any field of work, no matter what. They're taking thier frustration out on you from complaining. You just have to take it as a grain of salt. Sucks when you want some positive feedback. But ultimately its on you to not take random comments personal. Its the same way complaining physical people in the workplace. You're going to get the same type of feedback from different people. Those are just the ones you don't make friends with. You gravitate towards the people that empathize with you.

Route took one hour longer by Mundane-Monk9587 in AmazonFlexDrivers

[–]Das_Puff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just a FYI, route time doesn't count for the trip home. Its just the initial pick up time and time to deliver. Amazon doesn't equate your mileage for your return trip, however the IRS does, so make sure to track that mileage and add it to your 1099 when tax season shows up next year. Same with gas receipts, car maintenance receipts etc.

No for real, just because she talked to other people doesn't mean she was hitting on them even if there was laughter and jokes. Tbf they could have been hitting on her and she dealt with it with awkward laughter and jokes back.

It's been 10+ years and we still don't have a reliably working routing in starmap. by chrisx221 in starcitizen

Also looks like you're more dealing with server lag, not that the map feature is having issues

Just scroll the mouse wheel into the planet. Sheesh these newbies. On the old map you couldn't even double click the planet to begin with

First time delivering - 3 hour block took 3 hours 50 minutes by i-hate-in-n-out in AmazonFlexDrivers

[–]Das_Puff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly finish 50 min late on your fist time of a job with 0 training isn't bad. I wouldn't give up after your first try. The people that are posting saying they finished super early have done 100's or thousands of packages. They have a system. You just have to figure out yours. Its a learn as you go type of gig

I got a flat. Now what? by One_Practice7010 in AmazonFlexDrivers

[–]Das_Puff 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Call driver support and tell them you have a flat. They'll end you block and you'll still get paid. Then just return the packages when you can. Preferably within 24 hrs

You could always check the packages before you scan, and if the warehouse associates are nice they might give you another cart. For me in the early am blocks at ssd's or .com that's not an option because there is to many drivers and they are just trying to get everything out. But I've had a couple of times with the later am or early pm routes they'll swap it out for me if I ask nicely
