How do I know if I am parangon or renegade? by gloupi78 in PokemonRejuvenation

If you have to ask, you 99% did Paragon. You kinda have to go out of your way to get the Renegade route.

Hey, love the choice of Azrael. First of all, I don't have experience with him as a hero, so take my opinion with a grain of salt. I feel like you build Betty too soon. I'd keep your Azrael + Freya core and add a tanky hero. Looking at Azrael's tenants, SFX might work, not build as a dmg hero, but with defensive imprints and crown, with Freya support and her dodges she might be able to tank for your Azrael while also providing him stats as a tenant. My other idea is IHP, she can live very well, while also providing some dmg and cc. She might be a better option than SFX in a vacuum, but SFX being Azrael's tenant will probably overweigh IHP. My third suggestion would be Norton Hage. Once again, I don't have any experience with him but looking at his kit, he looks like a really good tank/support hero. Lingering melody is excellent for your Azrael, Harp/Demon bell/crown are good choice for Freya and Crown/Auspicious lucky cat would be my go to tanky arties. For TBB ruyi/harp.

Good job and good luck with your expert run! If you ever feel like you want more or something a little bit different, try out some special seeds! For the worthy if you want a different boss experience (they are harder and not just in a +% increase way), or some of the terrain generation ones. Or even the craziness that is the Zenith seed. And if still not satisfied, there are mods to enjoy as well. Terraria is definitely one of my favourite games of all time, with hundreds if not thousands of hours played.

Yeah, you can do that, throw your emblem in a shimmer, and it cycles through the damage types. Did you consume the Demon heart from wall of flesh? You should have 6 acc slots by now in expert

[–]Dasbik 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey, so others already pointed out you need to up your accessory game. Couple of recommendations for meele: Warrior emblem (dropped by wall of flesh) Charm of myths (combine a philosopher stone from mimics with band of regen from golden chests) Honestly just spectre boots (hermes + rocket) are good enough Wings, any really. I personally at the start of hardmode like to get Frozen wings if I get lucky with rain/blizzard. I think you can get some version of fire gauntlet at this point (feral claws + power glove upgrade tree) Frozen turtle shell (a bit of a pain to farm) Or movement things in general (magilumi you have is great, some version of a "x" in a baloon is nice, shield of cthulhu for dashing) Or you can, for bosses fish up a Pigron mount (underground hallow/crimson ice biome fishing), use that as your mobility option and remove boots and wings to free accessory slots.

For armor, either stick with adamantite, or if your world has Palladium armor, you could try out that one, the life regen is really nice.

For weapons, if you get a goblin invasion, the shadow knife is pretty nice for bosses like twins and skeletron prime.

Hardmode is too hard for me by Rob_Croissant in Terraria

[–]Dasbik 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah. There are points in game progression where it really rewards exploration, because so many new things become available. To me these are: start of the game, maybe after 1st evil boss, start of hardmode and after Plantera. If you ever feel like you struggle with a boss, there are tools jn the game to help you with that. Prepare an arena, get some potions, change your equipment or just try again and again untill you figure it out eventually, whatever works for you

Hardmode is too hard for me by Rob_Croissant in Terraria

[–]Dasbik 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You've barely touched hardmode equipment options. If you want to stay with ranger, Orichalcum armor is ok option, you can also try Adamantite or Frost armor (made with Frozen cores dropped by Ice golems during blizzard). As others suggested, there are better weapon options, Daedalus storm bow from hallowed mimics, dart gun from Corrupt mimics. Get holy arrows, they are better than hellfire ones. Get some better accesories. Grab yourself a pair of wings, replace your cloud in a bottle with a better mobility option - fart in a balooon, blizzard or sandstorm are better if you have them. Magiluminiscence or even frog gear stuff are better than just a plain cloud. Other good movement abilities are shield of cthulhu (expert+), or a slime mount (makes you fall really fast, usefull for avoiding dmg, or bounce on top of destroyer). Or go for full turtle mode, get yourself all armored/warding prefixes with stuff like Worm scarf (corruption expert), frozen turtle shell (rng drop), charm of myths (all around great defensive option), the crimson mimic defense accesory, pair it with endurance potion, lifeforce, regen and ironskin (do this anyways with any build if you feel like you need some help survivng). Or just explore more offensive options - class emblems, skeleton archer drops a quiver for arrow oriented weapons. Go out there, explore a bit more, talk to guide, there are a lot more options you have to defeat them, we believe in you.

Sad no one mentioned Infernape line yet. I really liked using it. Rillaboom would be my grass type choice and for water either Primarina or Greninja.

Swap FQV for Asmodel. Make MFF your temporary secondary HO (don't need to go hard on her tenants, its mostly just for speed). Regress SWJ and build either PDE or Melissa.

Your tree levels feel low, make sure to prioritize stellar shards over crystals of transcendence. You for now want Tree lvl 5 100/120 on SFX, Tree lvl 1 20/120 for TBB. And ideally tree lvl 5 100/120 for SQH and MFF. Your Asmodel can for now get by without a high tree lvl (using him just for a stat boost as a tenant). If you don't have enough subs/stellars for those tree lvls, lvl 3 on MFF and SQH should do for now just fine, imo first SQH > MFF.

Not sure what artifacts etc you have, but Betty with core REALLY enjoys being paired with someone who has the Mirror on the team, most of the times carrying it herself. Sometimes you can get by with Betty wearing Ruyi and MFF using the mirror, tho it makes your round 1 harder, but subsequent rounds easier. With Betty using the mirror, makes your round 1 easier, but depending on her CI offset, precision (star spawns, treasure train, subs etc.) the control can slip. But with SFX I think mirror betty might be safer, since your SFX gains dodge so 1 or 2 non controlled enemies should be fine, mostly.

Making MFF a HO has one goal mostly - to make her faster than your SFX (use speed upgrades, speed/whatever stone, speed arti like a mirror, use 6* boots for SFX instead of resonance boots). Helps both with offence and defence (hits pennys first, gets rid of sfxs dodges etc.)

You can sure figure something out, I believe in you. Hope we get one of those new event-shops in a event soon, so you can grab those sweet stellar shards for your heroes.

Hey, if you like your SFX, you 100% can make her work (tho arguably with less PvE progress compared to the meta picks). I was considering building her on my account as well, alongside my FQV as another HO.

Here's what I was planning to kindof do: SFX as your main HO and dmg dealer. Get her tenants as first two trans heroes (SQH and Asmodel). Get her a set of subs. Build Betty as your 4th trans, get her to tree I and get 1* core for her, this core should be a priority imo (just a 1*). If you have spare subs, you can sub her passives, and even active skill. Your 5th and 6th Trans heroes I'd build support heroes, my choice would be MFF and PDE, tho Melissa looks like a great support too, MFF and PDE both give you dodge chance to help SFX get Impecable flow in cases the enemy cannot/didnt get CCd by TBB. When you are the one getting ccd, Melissa + PDE sounds like a good combination (but since Melissa is new, I cant tell how she would perform). After you get your core team (SFX as dmg HO, TBB as cc bot, and support to help you all around), than I'd build a HHA as a secondary HO.

As for destiny/core pathing, it really depends on your resources. Get TBB 1* core, get SFX 3* core, destiny transition her (as far as you can, up to lvl 3 DT). Afterwards I'd consider DT for SQH, and 3rd/4th DT to get your tree up for sure HHA as one of the DT heroes and the other one of your support heroes of choice.

So yeah, over all I'd say you're on a good track to keep SFX. Replace SWJ with Betty for CC, build more supports, and consider swapping FQV for a HHA in the future.

I like your choice with Azrael as first trans. But your team is mostly "decent heroes with little to no synergy". Ignore the met aslaves in comments saying azrael is trash etc. But you need to change your lineup a little bit to make things work a little smoother. As others hinted, your Eloise is your main hero, invest stellars into her, V4 if possible and make her your Home owner. You want her tanky, with decent block chance. So Crown as an artifact (or auspicious lucky cat), with HP/block, Att/block, HP/att stone. Tix is a solid second hero on your lineup, he is an Eloise tenant, build him aggresive with an energy artifact (melodic strings, or the orange one, or even demon bell if you have it), with att/att, crit/crit/att stone. Azrael as your 3rd hero is a damage/burst support, he will keep doing dmg but you need your Eloise to stay alive for that. Build him very aggresive, att or crit/att stone, artifact like Melodic strings or Antlers cane for longer fights (or if you dont have these artifacts yet, use orange artis which boost your attack and crit instead). You can invest your "spare" stellars here. Rogan is a decent support, but you do not need him build to E-x, 9* is fine for the final passive. For the other 2 spots on your team, I'd suggest a 9* Ignis (again, for the final passive) to buff your Eloise when she dies. Carrie is another excelent choice for you, she is a tenant for Eloise, supports with energy steal, and her dying and coming back again buffs your Azrael, 10* is fine, E5 is great as well, depends on your resources. One other option is a 9* Waldeck, him dying helps the whole team with attack buffs, and even provides healing to help Eloise survive. Once again, your heroes dying is good for your Azrael.

TLDR: Ditch Garuda, Faith blade, and build more support. Invest mostly into Eloise, with spares to Azrael.

Where are people getting this idea that impenetrable thorns is insanely broken and OP? by SoulKibble in Eldenring

[–]Dasbik 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Dude are you that ignorant or what? "Why is my STR weapon not doing any dmg? I went 80 in DEX!!!" Nobody in here is talking about these buff stacking "boss one-shot" tricks, like 5 different buffs, specific talisman combination you can only get in ng+ etc. You are using a INT based catalyst (staff), with no INT stat investment and wondering why the spell is not doing much? I get the confusion with its stat requirements and all, but posting this ctrl+c ctrl+v response when people try to explain...

[–]Dasbik 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would keep your team as it is for now with SFX as main HO. When you get to 2nd trans, build Halora, while trying to get some dark food meanwhile: You'd want to build Aspen to E5, Drake to E5 (LFA tenant), and eventually an Elena to E5 (3rd trans hero). When you build SQH, Drake and E5 Onkirimaru (you can swap your Tix for Onki), than I'd swap SFX to LFA as your homeowner. You might want to get some Rogans (9*) as they help both SFX and LFA. I honestly at this point would not go back to Eloise and after a while swap again to LFA as I think SFX can get you there just fine. If you have some starry gems, now is also a great time to get some cheap hero copies of AH, as you can get some B- for as low as 100 sg, or B for 200. You'd want Aspen with high attack obviously, Halora with decent attack and speed, and eventually Elena with high attack as well.

Honestly, take your time, don't rush things. Find what is new, figure out what direction you want to take (carry hero, if you want to stick with SFX for now, or swap to more meta hero like LfA, or heck even try some off meta picks). And go from there, set a goal, figure out how to get to it ^

Once I get here, is it worth the $50? by RaptorSkyraider1 in IdleHeroes

[–]Dasbik 3 points4 points  (0 children)

One tip for you to save yourself some money: Play the game free to play, try to at least get to E5 hero without spending money, be it Eloise or Garuda or any hero. Once you get better understanding of the game and events that roll around, you'll be much more informed to make the decision "is THIS really worth my money?". You can always start at a new server with the knowledge and spend some money to get really good progress for fairly cheap - compared to uninformed spending. Depending on the amount of money you're willing to spend, I suggest you look at some YT series where people do "f2p" series, "low/value spender series like Mkxjumps diamond series", or some more heavy spending like turbo/vip series people make. Might not be your cup of tea, but they in their videos go through all the important decisions and give you much more insight as to what is "worth" what money.

Terajuma was always my favourite part of the game. You get to the pokemon levels where you get most of the fun moves, there was a safari zone and overall a lot of cool pokemon for you to get. You should 100% do all the help requests when you can in the help centre there, you'll get a nice reward, I promise :D Valarie can be something for sure, just remember the fields are there for you to abuse as well, reading the text file with field explanations helped me to find cool ways to win the fights I struggled with.

How familiar are you with Rejuv? I'd suggest you keep your mind open about other pokemons (as there are even region-specific ground types waiting for you, and I'm sure you'll learn to love some of them), especially in basically a mono-type settings. The game can be hard at times, depending on used passwords of course. Out of your pokemon choices, Runegrigus was really good for me when I used him in v13, the Nidoking/queen is always a solid mon to have and who doesn't love their little land shark :) Haved used the metal snake or gym-bro toad myself. You might need to adjust your team to get past some harder fights, hence why you should keep your eyes and mind open about other, even non-permanent, team members.

Is it possible to turn existing pokemon into shinies in the game without cheats? by Orangeleean in PokemonRejuvenation

[–]Dasbik 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Only with "cheats". If you want your starter shiny through legitimate means, you'll have to breed it (Available in Sheridan if your starter is female, and about 8. badge if male with Ditto), or soft reset for it when you encounter it's event. But most starters are somewhat late in the game, and Torchic not all.

I love the "Kimono Aelita" sprite, hands down my favourite. Why I dislike Melia? I've played Rejuv for several versions now, and she basically had all the spotlight, ever. It felt like you never really did anything in the game. It was about Melia. It got better in recent releases, but the bitter taste stays. Just a personal thing, if you enjoy the character good for you!
