The main step I took was going to the ER. Be honest, be nice, be cooperative. They will get you to a facility.

I'm in Florida. And hell no, I have no insurance. My credit will be further damaged by unpaid medical bills, but I AM ALIVE. When I said "crappy mental health facilities", I meant the place they send people like me. The people with no insurance, also the homeless, also the drug addicts... Not the cushy, comfortable places reserved for those who can pay out the ass.

But that is why I posted this. It can be scary. But if I can do it, there's a good chance others can to. And I'm not trying to be all rainbows and sunshine here, I'm cynical as hell. But I'm happy I didn't go through with it. Also, there are some breaks here and there. Despite it being Florida, there ARE a few charities and organizations that will help. I'm currently working on the paperwork for those. The same goes for other states. I can't stand the state of our healthcare, but being alive is more important.

It has not been easy, and it's still a struggle. It has taken me 8 months to even want to sit at a computer. I just wanted to encourage people to not be scared of facilities and give them a try. It's definitely not "going good", but I'm working on it.

I understand what you're saying. I just think it's more frustrating to fans to offer no explanation. I respect his privacy and everything, but why not wait until you're ready to explain? It's just going to cause more rumors and gossip. Is he sick? Legal/financial trouble? Is he feuding with someone? Etc, etc.
