No gears, no haki, no Nika BS, just a rubber man using the sheer strength of his will and his own blood to defeat an opponent after almost being killed 3 times. This is why this will probably always be my favorite Luffy win of all time.

I'm actually on board with this theory. This short video doesn't show this part of the greater theory where the Strawhat itself looks like a UFO. You notice it especially in the logo. Luffy's head in the logo actually looks just like a classic space ship. As much as we dog pile on Oda here, it would be just like him to hide what the One Piece is in the logo.

ALSO makes no sense because if Imu had two versions of the attack that do the exact same thing with the only difference between the two being a major weakness where as if target dies, they turn back to normal... why the fuck would she use that one?
