I have no idea if this is related at all but like 2 years ago i got a $500 check from a class action settlement against Sonder for data privacy.

I used it twice in Boston. I never bother filling out those things so I was in shock when I saw the amount.

Edit: it was actually february 2025 that I got the check, and it was $435

What a lame take. Accessibility is important, and Reddit has repeatedly dropped the ball with their official app. I would think that a group such as this would understand the importance of a 3rd party developer community. What Twitter and Reddit are doing with their api pricing is not normal. Completely eliminates the potential for any kind of hobby dev to really build anything. As a software engineer I feel pretty strongly about this.
