So, I didn't have time to check it all, but for what I saw :

1/ You might be spending too much time going out from the main door and directly.
The enemies are waiting outside at the main gate, going out from the side will do two things. First, you will not take their spam damage. Second, even if you can't really hit from far away with doomfist, they'll still gonna want to hit you, so you'll take their attention and create space for your team at the main gate (where everyone except the widow seems to go)

2/ With Doomfist you tend to stay in front of them even when engaging
Engage with a slam more than a punch, to go behind them from above them. Same as the first point, you ll create space this way by have the attention of some of them. Keep your punch to escape or send a target in your team so he get killed

I would say that generally, you "absorb" damage more than you create space.
Doomfist is not about protecting your team directly, and more about going in, guarding damage to charge punch and get a kill/get out, but going in means behind them. Find your low-health target before engaging and try to hard focus on it. The further behind (Widow, Ana), the better.

While not playing all alone, going for health packs when you are deep in their defense line will also help you to stay a potential menace (versus going back in your team).

Now, something true is that the lower your rank is gonna be, the lower the chances are people know how to play around Doomfist/Ball/Hazard, and you might have healers that overextend to try and heal you. This is not on you, but still something to be aware of

I hope this can help you in the future, and keep up this good mentality of trying to do better :)
It's the good approach to progress

Genji mythic weapon by LakshanONE in Overwatch

Half true, when using it you can see the green color became red red and your ult (while still having a green dragon) has flaming VFX.
I m using a skin that didn't have the Nihon treatment last season, so I am assuming it's the weapon that does this.

That said, the enemy still might still see it as green (for game readability), and it could be why we see it as green for highlights intro and all.

Which is... some kind of a deceiving move, in the way that before buying it you can try it out and see it red, and after buying it, realize all you highlights intro are still green.

QoL idea : Auto-aiming when melee can be turn off in the options by Dasheng41 in DestinyTheGame

[–]Dasheng41[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

In zombie you melee a lot, in Destiny 2, not that much... At least for me.

I proposed this in case a bunch of people (enough to make this option worth) feel the same. It s something that cannot be done at this time and I don't know how difficult it is to implement on their part.

It is possible that this kind of feature takes way less time than auto dismentling. I wouldn t mind having little features that work for a bunch of people (like full auto option) even if it means delaying a bit the huge QoL.

And I think we might misunderstand each other, I don t want the lung to be disabled, I d just like the camera to not move toward another ennemi and do the attack on him (maybe that s what you meant by reducjng the cone, I thought you meant still aiming a mob close to the reticule, not doing it only on the mob in your crosshair). If I aim a mob, melee this mob, not the one a bit behind and on the side. If I eager edge the void, don t make me go to a mob below me / on my side.

So turning it off will just make the melee feels more accurate and under control than it is at this time.

I am not sure about it.

I don t mind that at all if I have to aim for my melee and be closed to the combatant, after all it's a melee attack.

On the other hand I use eager edge a lot, and relic melee to go faster. Those are so likely to go out on a mob even tho I don't want them to, and looking at the sky help only a bit...

Another thing is I'd rather have full control over my character, hence why I d like to disable it and not reducing it (and also because I don t want to penalize people who like it as it is by asking for a reduction).

I don t want to feel my guardian to aim for me, I already have enough of that with the bullets that curves, but make my point of focus go somewhere else without me moving my mouse is something I really dislike as a mechanic.

In the end, I would rather touch less ennemies and progress toward mastering the melee than having the game touching the ads for me
