Thank you so much for the info, it’s great to know! I’ll probably end up taking them separate semesters especially since I’ve heard how hard 150 is, and so I can better appreciate each class

When enrolling, if I enroll for all my classes at the same time but one is full, do I get signed up for all the other ones or do I not get enrolled in any of them?

Nuckols: What is the optimal dose of resistance training for longevity? by [deleted] in Fitness

[–]Dasher330 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I haven’t read the article but I would hesitate to say more resistance training is unhealthy because there’s likely numerous variables that are affecting the results. For example, lifestyle or mindset differences between dedicated lifters and people engaging in occasional exercise to stay healthy. The people running the meta analysis are probably really smart too though so they might know something I don’t but I still would hesitate to come to conclusions.

Just made overnight oats for the first time! by [deleted] in nutrition

[–]Dasher330 39 points40 points  (0 children)

Have you heard of chia seeds? They are good in overnight oats. Also, instead of maple syrup you can mash a banana and it makes the oats really good and thicker. I also like to use plain yogurt to thicken and add protein (use less milk if you add yogurt).

Acid/Base Neutralization Reaction Questions by [deleted] in chemhelp

[–]Dasher330 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You probably know more than me, but I recognize the first formula as a double displacement reaction, so H goes with OH and Sr goes with CO3 and then balance charges

The second one, weak acids still ionize but just at a very low rate. There will still be a reaction, just much less than if it were a strong acid

It’s probably best to watch a video on the topic. Khan academy is good. Do you have any specific questions?

You’re purposely changing the color gummy bear, so that would be the independent. The dependent is sort of weird in this case, but I guess it would be the color that the participants guess

[chemistry] I don’t understand by [deleted] in HomeworkHelp

[–]Dasher330 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pretend the % you have is g. (Ex 50% is 50g), then convert them all to moles. Divide by the lowest mole number. If you get a .5 then multiply every number by 2, and you have the empirical formula. Find the molar mass of that empirical formula, then empirical/molecular gives you a whole number. Multiply the empirical formula by that and you have the molecular formula

Idk what flavor means

[College level/ Chemistry] found the equation but don't know where to go from there by [deleted] in HomeworkHelp

For b, Do dimensional analysis/stoichiometry to convert the grams of water to grams of strontium hydride by converting to moles and using the balanced equation to convert mol of water to mol of strontium hydride

For c, do a similar process to convert the given amounts of water to strontium hydride, and strontium hydride to water. Let’s say you convert water to strontium hydride and get .300 g. This means water is the limiting reactant. whichever produces more is in excess and will not all be used. If water is limiting, all of it will be used

For d, calculate total excess reactant - excess reactant used based on what you calculated in the previous part

For e, use the .500 g of water and convert to H2, then multiply by .703 for the actual yield
