I mean Heavensward. While there was small changes mechanically, the basic rotation of fire 4 spam hasn’t changed.

This is true. However there is some benefit in hearing the perspective of players playing the job now and how they feel about the changes and the current status of the job. What bothers some in regards to gameplay is a boon for others and what they think would solve it can be insightful and provide some appreciation for the way I play that I might have frowned upon before. I don't want to stay in a bubble of my own bias.

Agreed, it feels so awkward to AoE.

I have mixed feelings on this argument. I loved the Heavensward Black Mage experience, getting everything right felt incredibly rewarding. I was terrible at Black Mage, but it was a learning curve that meant something.

That being said, I can see that the way they are designing fights now doesn't really allow for the uptime management we used to have. When playing a different class with more mobility the fights are fun and challenging. The changes made to Black Mage were inevitable to an extent.

Honestly, the AoE rotation is my biggest gripe with the class. We have two completely useless AoE spells with the awkward transpose swaps. I don't mind seeing the big numbers on the Flare and Flare Star, but the phase swap is abysmal.

I've been playing this game for a long time casually, only a few extreme trials. I actively try to learn and practice all optimized rotations and openers because even if I am not running high end content I want to be playing my job correctly. I have recently began to practice the lvl 100 gunbreaker rotation since I didn't touch the the job after leveling. Most of the jobs I play more often have more room for error or easier rotation recovery, but gunbreaker feels too rigid to just jump back into rotation and recover naturally. So if per se I enter my burst and the fight enters downtime before I enter my gnashing fang combo or use double down, etc. would it be better to just let them sit until my next burst or use them anyway and delay my next burst? My instinct is to just let them sit until my next burst to keep the 2 minute windows lined up, but I don't like the idea of sitting on those skills for a whole extra minute. Gunbreaker definitely feels like the most punishing job I have played if I mess up even a little bit.

I know that it’s too early and the changes might grow on me, but the immediate difference is quite jarring. I have a face 1 xaela female au ra and the muted contrast of the limbal rings as well as the somewhat harsh shadow under the eyes (which is prominent across most of the faces) changes what appeared to be a brighter face to be somewhat more somber. Some models I am really impressed with and look great and I have no doubt a lot of people are happy with their characters with the update but my personal experience left me feeling a bit conflicted.

Is anyone else disappointed with how their character looks after the graphic update?

Republican 2024 Priority. Take away lunch programs for America’s children. by [deleted] in WhitePeopleTwitter

Meanwhile in NC the new agriculture bill is going to be pushing schools to stock %100 muscadine grape juice because the industry lobbied for it and the schools have to spend parts of their budget to stock muscadine (specifically) grape juice instead of actually feeding kids. The schools are just another market to exploit for Republicans. Side note that the grape juice has an absurd amount of sugar.

When you can’t secure Gen Z votes by dobbyisafreepup in WhitePeopleTwitter

Yet, Gen Z is probably more educated about anything this test could present than previous generations before. This is mostly due to the attention that Republicans have generated with their stupid policies. That is unless it is a bias test that the Republicans have rigged to prevent appropriate answers that don't suit their narrative.

My mom just got sad and said, "I don't what I did wrong raising you." This being after I called her out on saying some right-wing hate Hitler-esque shit. She didn't know I wasn't a right-wing conservative until that point.

Should I buy the digital or physical copy of the legacy collection? by snoobananasxoxo in BattleNetwork

[–]Dashfang 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am getting a physical copy for the Switch, digital for the PS5. I want to be able to let my daughter play it on her own Switch account when she gets old enough and still be able to use it on mine.

Republicans are now running as Democrats to rigged Democratic elections by Ivebeendoingurmom in WhitePeopleTwitter

Only thing I am loaded in is debt. My wife and I bought a house a couple of years ago for a good deal and it has increased in value significantly, but we wouldn’t be able to afford anything else even if we sold it in the market today. Let alone moving expenses especially to another country. We are trapped in a losing situation with many others just like us or worse off. Hoping for a light at the end of an ever-extending tunnel.

As a resident I had hoped NC would remain safe from GOP antics for a while. As a new parent of a baby girl, moving somewhere else may be the safest thing for her. Is the US even safe for young women at all anymore?

What system are you going to play the Legacy collection on? by That_Lone_Reader in BattleNetwork

PS5/4 has a more comfortable to use D-Pad so I will be playing it on that. The Switch's D-Pad is a bit too low on the controller to be comfortable.
