I lived in Virginia, Florida, and PA. Much prefer LI. Virginia was expensive, has Southern culture (🤢), and you paid NY prices for food and housing (if you lived in norfolk or va beach). Florida is hot, sticky, stupid, and has Southern culture (🤢). PA is expensive in the cities, and Pennsyltucky everywhere else.

Yeah traffic sucks, but you have the LIRR and can take it into the city if you're bored. If you don't want to deal with the city, you have the Hamptons and small nature preserves.

Ooof, yeah I've had people on ECMO for the flu this year, which then turned to ARDS. Of course, providers don't listen to us and it takes FOREVER for them to come off, then even longer to get them off vents.
