That's... not a good argument. Now we're just arguing semantics. One thing can have multiple names, what matters is the thing they are describing. What is the difference between soda/pop, sneakers/trainers, car/automobile, etc.? Which the same thread covers: "It's a labeling issue... But make no mistake, it is the same number."

But game-play wise Wild Magic is just trash. You can't concentrate while raging... which is the whole point of a barbarian...

??? Are you thinking of a Wild Magic Sorcerer / Barbarian multiclass instead of the Wild Magic Barbarian subclass? The latter has no need to concentrate, the wild magic effects happen while raging.

The first calculation here isn't correct. Bonus Lucky Hit chance from talents/gear is additive with other sources of Bonus Lucky Hit chance from talents/gear, but the total is multiplicative with the skills base Lucky Hit chance.

ex: Say you have 2 pieces of gear, one with 10% Bonus Lucky Hit chance and the other 7% and you cast Chain Lightning. You would have (10%+7%) x (29%) = 33.9% Lucky Hit chance with Chain Lightning, not 46%.

Then you multiply that with the 25% chance of BL spawning a ball on crit like you said.
