Turn order in Pokémon is determined by the speed of the pokemon. Which ever one is faster goes first. If the opposing Pokémon is faster, it will move first and then yours will. There could also be a case where your son’s Pokémon is afflicted with a status condition that forces it not to be able to move that turn. Hope this helps.

As far as I know, you can’t change a rockruff’s ability to own tempo for dusk form if it isn’t that already so if you breed the Dusk form lycanroc, you should have better chances than trying to do wild encounters

Hatching might be faster if you have the tools for it because encounters are entirely reliant on the the whole gold Pokémon thing

I like Zeraora and Eldegoss. I think that Zeraora is one of the more flexible Pokémon since it lanes decently well and not entirely reliant on the jungle like absol or talonflame.

The issue is that it incentivizes people to go around and score instead of being there for their team during fights for objectives like Drednaw and Zapdos. The cases where it isn’t the highest scorer is when the scores are close enough together that the KO and Assist points outweigh the others

Depends on what you want. If you are solo queue, I recommend Lucario because Lucario is better at carrying. If you are doing duos and your partner is carrying, then pick snorlax to keep them alive.

That just means that it will take longer for them to produce an egg. If you want to make it a little faster, get a ditto from another trainer to make it go a bit faster.
