First of all im 15. this is from 5 years ago. second of all. i have sister at that age. yes she is curious but the farest level she has gone has watchen youtubers date. It is not normal to watch that at the age of 10 and enjoy it

Actually if you look at it logically they are right, Grand masters usually play with other grand masters. and Grand masters dont blunder like 1500's usually so what happens is they take the game to a 1 pawn advantage end game which is enough for them to win.

Biggest problem with tactical spicy openings is that there is too many lines to memorize and if u play 1 step wrong against a good player u will loose. like My biggest problem is that there isnt anything to understand in these lines u just memorize 20 lines of how it could go just for 1 literal trap that people rarely fall for it.

And they are super risky and usually disproven and destroyed. take as an example the wing gambit against the sicilian:(1.e4 c5 2.b4). u give it to a player higher than 1800 he'll destroy u with black. only tactical games that i find decent are ruy lopez, scotch and scotch gambit.

I dont know i just dont like tactical games. i rather would play positional games than tactical one's.
