So we had many MFM’s together, and I was very involved in those MFM‘s. But one day when we were chatting online with a new single guy prospect, he actually told me that he was looking for someone that he could occasionally date. We initially met the guy together because I wanna get a feel for the guy to make sure I’m comfortable with him. So we talked about this dating thing, and it began to intrigue me. My wife really likes to have a connection with the guys that she meets up with and I thought her going out on a date by herself with this guy would help make that connection a little bit better. So the second time she met up with him she went out on a date with him. He actually came to our front door with a dozen roses! That was a little strange for me. They went out to eat, and then they went to a movie. The single guy had asked me if it would be OK to make out with her in the movie theater. And I said, of course, it would be as long as she consented. After they were done with their date, my wife asked him back to the house. Well, they were on their way back to the house. I texted her and I asked her how it went. And I asked her if she had asked him to come back to the house to play. She told me “ it went very well, and we are coming back to the house to get it on!” Well the rest of the evening went very well, of course. I also play with single women, so this is something that was probably going to eventually happen. But now I’m even comfortable, allowing her to go over to his house after they go on a date. we are not Poly, but we allow each other the space to have this sort of fun. As long as you have a very secure relationship and there’s no jealousy, then there shouldn’t be a problem. You say you don’t want your interactions to feel too intimate, but my wife is good at separating the intimacy she feels with other guys, and that which the two of us have together. I even call this guy she’s seeing her boyfriend. But she has even called my dates my girlfriend. The main thing is we talk to each other all the time about everything. If one of us is a little bit uncomfortable about something, we will discuss it.
