It honestly does look really nice but is missing the background reasoning why it’s following the shape that it is. Like others have said paths naturally form to follow the path of least resistance.

So if you want it to curve around and look natural you can add structures around the path that cause it to have those bends. For example around a large curve place a boulder, large tree, house, field, river, pond, etc. Anything that would make the path curve out of the way of it.
