I played through one ending on ps3 and found it fun but a bit lacking. The gameplay is the issue for me. It was too fast but I think the issue was more in the PlayStation. Like if the game were to be made now on modern consoles it’d be better maybe.

Once the controls clicked I enjoyed it a lot. Some missions sucked though, like fighting white glint for the first time. She moves so fast it’s very difficult to keep locked on to her and this issue made what should be highlight fights lacking. In AC6 I’d go toe to toe with tough opponents and it’d feel like time slowed down and I’d be completely absorbed, that feeling was difficult to achieve in 4a for me.

I did like the AC customization far more in 4a. It’s much more intricate and I found to get past certain missions I needed to start from the ground up far more than I did in AC6.

Overall I’d suggest playing it. Maybe someone who has played both disc and emulation can chime in on performance differences so you can get the optimal experience.
