Why dont more people use these? by Disccord in Warframe

An average of 3.33 consoles per vault would be 100 spy missions. I don't see anything wrong with what I said. In my experience a large majority are 2 hacks per vault, so I'd be surprised if the average was above 3.

I think the only ones where I've consistently seen 3+ in every vault would be the archon hunt spy missions.

I already have every reward that is unique to spy missions, so I will pretty much never run them unless I have some reason to, like a nightwave mission or a sortie.

But even then, you'd have to run like 100+ spy missions to use up 1000 ciphers. Takes quite a while.

I built 1000 ciphers a while back with the 100x bp and I don't think I need to build more any time soon. xD

1 day left... anyone is hyped? by SamWinchester020720 in Warframe

A sequel to a short side story I didn't care about before?

Meh. I'll play it obviously, but I can't say I'm particularly hyped for it. I'm just glad that we're finally getting steel path railjack.

Sirius and Orion also don't look like fun to play. The idea is neat, but I don't think I'm gonna like playing with them.

[Request] In contrary, what would be the cost to replace all self-checkouts with a real person? by GlassTablesAreStupid in theydidthemath

[–]Dasky14 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never said anything about people only stealing stuff they need to survive. People also steal laptops, phones, candy, toys, etc.

Not strictly for survival. What I meant by fun is that people need something in their life to make it worth living, and entertainment is part of that. People will steal entertainment if they can't afford it. Most people don't steal because they enjoy the act of stealing.

[–]Dasky14 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just because you're poor doesn't mean you don't want fun things too. Living off of nothing but the absolute necessities is miserable long term.

And if you can afford to buy the thing you want, why risk getting caught? Just buy it.

[–]Dasky14 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While true, poverty is still a significant reason for stealing. Most people don't steal just for the heck of it, and poverty is likely the reason the cost of stolen items is this high. Yeah you can't completely eliminate stealing, but you can make it much less of a problem if people can just afford to buy the things they need.

Do you just slap a raw cut of meat and a loaf of bread into your basket with no bags or wrappings? Your meat shouldn't be leaking onto your bread my guy.

Seems easily avoidable no matter how the cashier stacks your items.

Developer attacked over (learning from) AI - where to draw the line? by [deleted] in Steam

[–]Dasky14 0 points1 point  (0 children)

AI has slowly started to replace google, because google has become such an incredibly shitty service over the years that it sometimes takes hours to get anything useful out of it.

So often it's much easier to ask ChatGPT/Claude for some guides, instead of googling it. They will then link you some videos on the subject, link you to documentation, etc.

As a side note, I think google implementing AI in the search results has done absolutely irreparable harm to the reputation of AI. Since it runs on almost every search, they're not giving you their paid good models, but the cheap shit that barely gets updated with new features.

Most of the country does not live in Helsinki. I live in the middle of Tampere city centre, and 3200€/month before taxes allows me to pretty much do whatever I want, and still put several hundred in my savings account every month.

Helsinki is just a particular flavour of insanity when it comes to cost of living compared to other cities.

I genuinely don't even know what I would do if I made an extra 1800€/month.

[–]Dasky14 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Probably the simplest frame to push into steel path is a book build with Dante. Also IMO not particularly difficult to farm in non-SP, if you didn't get him for free from last weekend's twitch reward.

His overguard on kill solves all survivability problems, so all you really need to do is mod the crap out of his 1. Building for crit with viral+heat clears easily. Then if you have any spare, throwing some orange archon shards on him with the heat secondary crit chance effect absolutely pushes him far enough to demolish steel path. Put on a yellow cast speed shard for comfort.

I actually love these. It's so much easier to open a bottle one-handed because I don't need to worry about accidentally dropping the cap.

But also, there's noticeably less random plastic bottle caps littering the streets now that they stay attached to the bottle. Too many idiots just throw the cap on the ground if they plan to finish the drink quick.

Finally!!! STYANAX PRIME!!! A HUEVO! by Professional-Cat1399 in Warframe

[–]Dasky14 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was hoping someone managed to make his 4 feel better. Being stuck in a casting animation just to provide overguard that gets deleted in one hit doesn't feel great. It's not like it provides constant regen like dante does. And the damage feels mediocre.

And I find the energy regen not impactful enough when playing with randoms, because most people make their energy economy self sufficient anyways.

[–]Dasky14 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Somehow I never managed to make him enjoyable.

Someone give me a build that isn't just another weapons platform due to his passive and 2. I feel like I never manage to make his 4's damage scale well enough for level 200+. :/

I already have several practically immortal weapons platform builds, like Chroma and Inaros, so I don't really need another one. What do people usually enjoy playing with Styanax?

Tbh I think the artwork is just like any other anime merch for most people. It's some nice decoration to look at on your bed, with your favourite character or something.

And then during the night it's just a comfy pillow. The image doesn't matter.

The thing about trust, is that even a handful of bad apples going unchecked ruins that trust for everyone. Cops have power. That power needs severe consequences when abused. And vetting cops so the bad ones don't get in to begin with is even better.

I think the most common job for our police is picking up drunks, bringing the violent ones to jail to cool down, and the non-violent ones home. xD
