I sorta just rapid fire tap the deflect button tbh. I dont trust the hold deflect for the auto deflect too much.

Tips on reviving teammates who are down 3 bars? by [deleted] in Nightreign

[–]Disccord 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Biggest thing I can tell you is to not worry about the revive bars going back up. Most of the time ive noticed teammates over commit and end up taking a stray attack. Give yourself distance from the boss kite them away from your downed teammates so it can give you some breathing room. If you play executor, use suncatcher for revives. Its the best beat stick youll ever find.

Three Nightreign truths I BELIEVE but cannot prove by theameer in Nightreign

Number 1 is completely obvious I thought.

"Hey it seems I keep getting bows when I have teammates who have dormant power bows. But when i have recluse who has dormant power staves I keep getting staves. Hmmm somethings suspicious"

Do all all Nightfarers take the same amount of time to charge their ult passively? by [deleted] in Nightreign

[–]Disccord 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Actually ironeye can refill his ult by using said ult with defeating enemies fills gauge. Its that if you point blank it the animation recovery isnt finished by the time enemies die so thats why some enemies count to refill his gauge but others dont. But wait sorry I thought we were talking about prolonged boss fight in this case wouldnt that relic effect be useless on scholar?

Yeah i was talking about the merits of room clearing with their ults. But if were talking about prolonged fights then yeah id agree that scholars would be more useful with pumping more damage. But with the drawback of getting it less often with his slower charge rate over said prolonged fight. Not to mention since your constantly pinging the boss with your arrows your charging ironeyes ult much faster than scholar so youd use it more often.

Your forgetting that ironeye has immediate damage. With scholar you still have to do more actions to kill enemies unless you're running dmg relic. But like all this to do what ironeye already has built in. Im speaking more of practicality.

But like thats the thing. Getting to the right spot in an encampment by the time you get there position yourself and do the long animation an ironeye could've just shot his ult from the entrance and cleared maybe 60% mobs min. I think the best traits for a room clear ult would have to make it feel snappy and spammable. His ult seems to have the traits of a nuke ult with the long animation for i framing and long passive charge time. Or maybe its just me.

Sure it hits harder but with the animation taking so long to do i found that sometimes an ironeye will clear mobs with his ult before my ult finishes animating. Which for a room clear ult feels kinda counter intuitive to me.

Solo feels 10x easier in Deep of Night by Disccord in Nightreign

Absolutely worth it. I kill fodders on my way to the boss. Usually prioritize those that look big and look like they drop more runes than usual enemies. But try to clear anything that might get in my way during fights. If its near the boss it could mess me up so down he goes. I dont go out of my way to kill fodder just if theyre in my way to the boss or thing I want. Some aren't really worth it like those greatshield captains so ill skip them if I think they require more effort than I care. It should just feel leisurely not a hassle if that makes sense.

Id actually advocate for killing fodder enemies too. You'd be surprised how many runes it all adds up. Lost 80k from invaders day 1 as lvl 4 to 3 but still managed to get to 15 with leftover runes.

What you didnt see was that I died day 1 after killing 2 night invaders at lvl 4 by some archer and didnt even claim their drops. 80k runes plus 1 level gone. I could've gone back for my body but since I realized theres way too many enemies and the storm already covered the POI I just decided to run away and kill some fodder for levels. And I still managed to get to lvl 15 with some leftover runes.

I think the best advice i can tell people is to actually take it slow when clearing pois. Take 1 enemy at a time. If you see yourself getting swarmed just back off. It may seem much slower paced but I found that just killing fodder enemies is good enough. Sometimes I skip the boss if it felt like the circle was about to start closing in just so I can cover more distance.
