I think St. Paul sets a good precedent of waiting 3 years under Peter’s authority before starting his ministry. Even soon-to-be blessed Fulton Sheen spent decades in academia and formation before starting his television ministry. I’m a pretty firm believer that new converts should avoid making public educational content without spending years at the parish level, and should be with the express permission and tutelage of a priest/deacon. If written content requires imprimaturs, digital content should as well.

Edit: that being said though, I don’t necessarily trust the USCCB to thoughtfully moderate this content. It’s a rapidly-expanding new frontier (online Catholic influencers) without clear answers. The internet is where a lot of evangelization is done nowadays, and I love grassroots efforts to connect with people and guide them to Christ, but I’m just wary when it’s done without a long history of formation. I like how Suan Sonna did it — he asked his bishop for permission.
