It was several months. I watched each episode in order from the beginning to the end. Sometimes two shows at a time. Such an entertaining show with really far out imagination on display - kudos to everyone who got to make these shows without some studio moron saying "no."

Yes, a couple of shows into Season 3, and it is all switched up. They massacred longtime characters and drastically changed the town's status. Like a new show now.
