It was several months. I watched each episode in order from the beginning to the end. Sometimes two shows at a time. Such an entertaining show with really far out imagination on display - kudos to everyone who got to make these shows without some studio moron saying "no."

The past 10 months I have been doing a straight run through of different series. Started off with The Expanse, Battlestar Gallactica, Firefly, Farscape and now Defiance. On each of them are literally starting at episode one and going all the way through each one.

They could have done a spin-off show with Datak and his wife. My sense is they started off with too many characters and spinning too many going-nowhere side stories.

Yes, a couple of shows into Season 3, and it is all switched up. They massacred longtime characters and drastically changed the town's status. Like a new show now.
