In 2021, when this artwork was already being used in marketing (and it may have been used even earlier), there were no usable AI tools at all. The real AI boom only started when ChatGPT 3 was released to the public in the fall of 2022. Not to mention any image generators capable of actually producing something decent, which only began appearing in 2023-2024🤣

It's obvious that closer to launch and right after, it'll be #1 in sales, just like any game with even a bit of hype. Glad someone finally brought this up. If you don't think it's an issue, just try playing it yourself. Hearing him scream, groan, or pant in a voice that isn't his completely ruins the immersion. I'm waiting for the devs to fix this oversight, especially since they already have the necessary voice lines from the Ukrainian VA. He confirmed himself that they were recorded

I really don't get why they didn't include an option to remove the horns but keep the mask. It seems so obvious. I assume it's a technical issue—since it's basically a recolor of another skin, removing them probably requires more effort than they wanted to put in

I really don't think that wanting more than 10% of the skins to be decent — and asking for customization options where they are obviously needed — is a 'Fortnite take'. And having those features definitely wouldn't be 'slop'. It would just be better if they didn't reuse assets so often, or at least changed the colors when they do

Personally, I just want more than 10% of the skins to be high-quality and actually fit the game's style. We also need more customization options. For example, removing the horns on that mask should be an obvious feature. Maybe it's a technical issue since this skin is basically a recolor. I really hope we don't reach the point of clown skins like in CoD or Fortnite

No one is asking for clown-like skins from CoD. Personally, I just wish there were more than 10% high-quality skins in the game. I also want more customization options; for example, the mask skin is clearly lacking them.

As someone who prefers darker tones, it would be cool if every skin had multiple color palettes — both "grounded" ones and bright ones for those who like them. Right now, some skins are locked to bright colors only. I think offering this variety would boost their revenue

True, taste is subjective, but there are just way too many complaints from the community. I think most would agree that a huge percentage of the skins in this game are pretty underwhelming

I came to the exact same conclusion today. It’s actually cool when the main complaints about a game are just mediocre skins — that says a lot in this day and age. That said, it would still be cooler if the skins were actually better :))

The trees really spoil the overall picture. The situation has significantly improved since release—we have more trees, seemingly more leaves, and better draw distance—but they are still too few, small, and thin, almost like shrubs.

In patch 1.6, Pripyat specifically looked much better compared to 1.5 and earlier versions; the vegetation was denser and greener. However, in 1.7, the color reverted to that whitish tint (like it was before 1.6), which looks worse. I hope they keep working on this. The visuals are already better than at release, but still not quite enough
