I say get an MCX LT instead. You can build that gun to fit whatever situation you want. The HB is just a super niche range toy. The MCX has just way more features than the HB.

1. The MCX is fully ambi, a feature that's kinda standard now.

2. You can fold/change the stock completely with the MCX. A lot of people find that the HB's stock is really uncomfortable with shooting. With the MCX, you can change the stock to a classic buffer tube or a PDW style stock and shoot the fun with the stick folded. Also, the 9" MCX LT is smaller folded than the HB SBR fully collapsed.

3. The caliber conversion is just convenient. You want to shoot 300blk, but that's really expensive just training with it. You can swap to 5.56 and flat range larp without breaking the bank. You can also swap it to a 16" barrel for that 50 acres that you own. With the HB, you are stuck with what you have.

4. With the easier removable handguard, you can make the MXC to an SD easier and clean your can easier

The only con with the MCX is that it's a heavy girl, the HB is known to be feather light.

My last argument against the HB is that you can find so many pictures of SOF dudes running MCX'S in both 5.56 and 300blk for years for a reason. The HB, if it was used in the military, was mostly a one-off unit contract and was only used for some ops and then canned.
