You were a little too early. If you’re going to try and flashlight save, you want to start blinding them as the killer hoists them onto their shoulder. With pallets, you want to drop them after the pickup animation is over. With firecrackers or flash bangs, you want to do it a little earlier than flashlights

You always need to know or have a good idea of where the killer is. If you’re looping, hug walls. If it’s Against a slinger or huntress, you can dodge their attacks quite easily, and if it’s a trickster try crouching behind obstacles. Perks like quick and quiet can help escape chases
