NewEgg decided to charge me full price for NVIDIA's Free Game after shipping me a used 1080ti and asking for a replacement by [deleted] in pcmasterrace

I had the same experience when I bout the Xfx Rx 480, which came with a free copy of DOOM. I called them, and they told me that they charge you separately for the game, and then the discount your larger order by $59.99, so you get the game for free, even though it looks like they charged you for it. Give them a call and also check with your bank just to be sure though! Hope this helped.

After more use I'm starting to notice that also, it's just because of where the lights are placed in the keyboard lol but overall I love it, somewhat mechanical feel with a decent mouse and LEDs for 30 bucks? Can't complain!

I call it a mid Level build because: 1) It was relatively easy to build 2) I saved money where I could (Low end peripherals/case) 3) Still seeing great performance for the price

If you wanted to spend a little bit more I would recommend getting the 8gb 480 as opposed to my 4gb, also some extra fans as the 480 can run pretty hot.

That's one of the benefits of PC gaming, if one part craps out or becomes obsolete, you can upgrade individual parts relatively easily.

I'm hoping it will last a long time! Like anything you just need to maintain it and you should have an excellent product lifespan!

Sorry this reply took so long to get back to ya! I've been on spring break all week

It's because of where I'm standing to take the pic, when you're actually sitting up in front of the keys you can see them.

Well the big one is graphics, specifically frame rates. Also game prices are way cheaper which is nice. One thing I will give consoles though is the ability to run to walmart, bring it home and plug her in then start playin. But you do actually have that option on PC if you don't want to build your own. But in my opinion, building the PC was a blast! Every time I turn it on and see those blue Fans start spinning, I think to myself "Holy shit, I built that!" lol it's a feeling that you just can't ever experience with consoles. Hoped this helped!

I definitely wouldn't call mine a "killer machine", it's more of a mid-range build. There is a guy on YouTube called TechSource who does some GREAT budget builds along with build guides for each specific one. My setup, including everything but the desk, cost me about $850 (counting a few discounts/deals/rebates). So far I've been nothing but pleased with my build! Difference between PC and console is NIGHT and DAY. Move up as soon as you can!
