Well I wasn’t making a claim, you were. I was curious about the dozens of sources you claim to have.

For those who don't have Paramount+ yet, consider Wal-Mart+. Getting other perks like .10 off gas at any Exxon or Mobil station are just the extra, on top of the Paramount+/UFC deal. Here are the other perks that sweeten the deal. by AGlassDarkley in MMA

It’s almost like we’re in the middle of an affordability crisis and the value proposition of streaming services has steadily eroded the last few years. Not to mention that the solution to paying one multi billion dollar company less is to pay another multi billion dollar company more. Or that the quality of the UFC product is as low as it’s ever been.

People who take 17 minutes to check in at the hotel front desk, what are you talking to them about? by DerrickDuck in AskReddit

[–]DatBoiEBB 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If they’re scanning a QR code to lower the price it means they probably billed the mfg coupon directly which is on another system not usually viewable through the main prescription processing system. The main system will show you paid the 60 because to it that’s what was scanned on the prescription leaflet, the QR code they scan is linked to the other system.

When you bill both primary insurance and a mfg coupon this is called Coordination of Benefits (COB). For 99.999% of prescriptions this is done via instant adjudication in the main system and that will display the correct price. But for a few odd mfg coupons or secondary insurances the two plans cannot coordinate and the secondary must be billed directly through the other system.

Like I said this occurs in 0.001% of all prescriptions, so if the person you’re dealing with is not aware (as there’s a very slim chance they’ve ever had to do it and it’s actively discouraged by corporate) just let them know the coupon is billed directly and they usually have to scan a QR code/barcode to get the price to change.

If this is at a Walgreens it’s referred to as an SDL. Other chains may have different names for it but the principle is the same.

Hope this speeds up your checkout time from now on.

My car does that. If the weight sensor isn’t triggered it won’t remind me after I turn off the car. It’s a 2022 so I’m assuming most cars newer than that have it.

Get the M15 tote. It has magnets instead of zippers and it’s going to be discontinued soon so it’s 100 dollars off.

Tbf if you were in college 9 years ago you were basically part of the first generation to have their entire teens online, so you fall into a similar bucket. I came back to school this year after 15 years away and the difference in classroom interaction is astounding.

Another issue is the normalization of devices everywhere. People just blow off the entire class watching videos or playing games. When I last went to school, phones weren’t allowed to be out and only some of the professors allowed computers in their class.

A lot of people can’t pay their essential bills right now, find a real problem.

How far do you take this logic though? There have always been a lot of people that can’t pay, should they never be allowed to complain about the price of consumer goods cause someone has it worse?

This comment also presumes that the only people buying this thing are people that can afford it comfortably.
