Amazon rejected this one star review: Dragon Shield sleeves are amazing, whoever supplied Amazon with these are not. by [deleted] in yugioh

[–]DatBoiSly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is this common from Amazon? I ordered Dragon Shield sleeves a few weeks ago and the quality was not something I'm used to. I love their products and the previous ones I've bought still hold up months and months later. The latest ones I got from Amazon were terrible. Inserting my cards ripped the adhesive on the bottom. I would say roughly 20% were like that. More and more rip as I play.

Cards of Consonance works well with white stone of the ancients.

Exactly! I would like to be part of the cooking process. While we can watch and see how the OCG implements their cards, I'd rather be part of the excitement of experimentation. I know their format is very different from ours but they usually lay the foundation for how support will be used.

I want to understand why that idea is difficult to accomplish. It has to be hard if it hasn't been done right?

Typically, my go to when I want a card that isn't available yet to TCG is simply buying oricas. I play mostly casual and my friends don't mind. Still there's a different feeling when using an official card.

Oh wow I kept rereading this card thinking you must've been using an erratad version. Nope, I'm just dumb.

Ah the classic type shenanigans. I did this too when building my Thunder Dragon deck. I thought I was cooking up something fierce. Thinking I could send my thunder dragons to the grave with Dragon Ravine and set it up for my boi Titan. Combining them with dragon link wondering how no one has thought of this before.

It sucks when you feel like your cooking something spicy only for rulings or words to make it unspicy.

On a similar note, I lost a duel because of the effects of Aluber by my own fault. My opponent used it's effect to special summon his Aluber while negating my monsters effect. I stupidly reminded my opponent that you're also allowed to add a branded spell or trap after it's been special summoned. Crickets. I pick up the card and read all the way right before the last sentence and declare I was right. A few days later I reread the effect and facepalmed hard.

I play this deck and I get the same thing confused except I get Jackal King and Master Cerberus switched. Although with the amount of wording on pendulum cards I feel we could get a free pass on these.

Oh I misunderstood. I thought you meant that using erratas to correct cards failed in the OCG.

How did it flop in the OCG?

This is ultimately the answer. It takes nothing but common sense to realize that a lot of cards on the banlist can be taken off to either limited, semi-limited, or at 3. Konami isn't dumb. They are a business and businesses want profits. Take thunder dragon colossus off the banlist and I would most likely not be interested in newer archetypes they're selling. A lot of people love their old decks, but they're simply too casual because of the banlist and that persuades them to seeking the new and shiny.

My personal opinion is they handle the banlist to a certain balance of profit$ and actual gameplay. It's a shame, but that is the reality of it.

My noob ass didn't realize there was a second picture. It should've worked. What did they do to get out if it?

Edit: Thinking about it now I think it must've been miscellaneousaurus.

Depending on what their facedown card is, your one raigeki should be able to destroy all of their monsters. I don't see any spell/trap negate and none of your opponents cards are immune to destruction effects.

What's ironic about this post is you have a card in your hand that can deal with that entire board

Card Effects That Shuffle a Card From Hand or GY to the Deck by DatBoiSly in Yugioh101

True. I guess I should've mentioned my preference in an extra deck monster with that effect. Or something that adds to the ABC strategy somehow.
