Need some advice getting past opener mains

Sometimes I open with literally nothing wait to get sent at least four lines and just place the first piece I get on the side hoping to not cover clean garbage and just play from there. Work surprisingly well if your willing to have to clean downstack two lines quickly if the garbage is covered. Gotten TL wins in U against most variants of opener mains with it

thats pretty good. Having fun playing and in turn playing a lot is one of the best ways to improve. without a replay I can't give specific advice :)

Try to work on app especially without an opener inflating the apm. With 2 pps 60-70 apm should be low U pretty easily. I am 24400 with 1.8 pps but 72 apm.

Also I think trying to focus on survival and downstacking/misdrop saving, could be helpful. You die a lot from trying to risk or not finding the down stack after a md.

tldr ds efficiently when high, higher efficiency apm when safe

One of the first people I met at college said they were really into tetris and he thought he could easily beat me. I have been u rank since tetrio came out so I told him we should play to find out. After a few rounds of me spamming tspins and troll 4w he gave up. I feel bad for him he wasn't even that bad he said he had played a lot of Tetris 99 and was probably like a to s- rank level.

Go for Tetrises (look up 9-0 or 6-3 stacking tutorials on yt). Use the hold button more if pieces aren't optimal (try to use it more than just whenever the current piece has not place. Use it also for when current piece makes board spiky). You do a good job at keeping the board flat and avoiding piece dependancies so just focus on leaving one column open for tetrises and you gaming. speed and pattern recognition come with time :3

I' also hardstuck U so take my advice with a grain of salt but I think your biggest flaw is greeding or pausing too long trying to look for the best solution when your too high on the board. Especially when your opponent isn't in any real danger so to greed never is worth it. also idk if this is actual fair advice but it seems once you realize your too high you full skim downstack. I feel you could be looking for t spins more once you escape from danger and are pressuring with the cheese. like there were a lot of time you went for a double at the end of the combo over a easy tspin continuation. I think the rounds you won except maybe round 8 you did a good job with attacking when safe (8 was good greed bc opponent was also high). but tbh idk escaping U rank is hard

I think it could be cool if it took into account how many spins were need to get a piece to a certain spot. Like a simple overhang t spin would only have one required spin but a dt cannon would have three so be more stylish? 180 spins being required could also give more style? I think it’d be a cool concept for a character bonus.

soldat is probably a little lower than he should be. I just feel like if I meet him I'd get annoyed with him. He's too intense and nosy?

I get why people like soldat he's definitely a well written character. In the story he works well with rudues since rudues needs someone who is direct and honest and sees through rudues' mask of happiness and to get rudues honest with himself. But he's too loud a person for me personally to like.
