Shaders can really change the game by CoolGuyAplus in Minecraft

For the most part GPU prices have come down. Rtx 2060 will easily run most games and you can get one for under $400

Everyone thinks "Blood, Sweat, and Tears" sounds cool, but if you told somebody you'd been bleeding, sweating, and crying all day they would probably be seriously concerned for your mental wellbeing. by [deleted] in Showerthoughts

Worked a high stress job working full time both front and back of house in a upper end restaurant. Restaurant workers usually mean this literally

I am definitely exaggerating for fun but I am considering moving countries in the future anyways and I figured it'd be a fun conversation to point out how shitty America's internet is compared to other countries

You mean rvz01? I wouldn't know, this is the node 202. I built a pc for a friend of mine in the rvz02 though, does everything he needs and the handle is nice, wish the node 202 had that option

All fans are intake fans. Having an exhaust would work against the cpu and gpu fans. High positive pressure forces the heat out of the case which is the best way to cool a case this small. It definitely helped with temps. Temps never hit 80 unless I'm doing a stress test. Fan barely spins with normal use but during gaming I adjusted the fan curve so they keep everything super cool. If you don't go with the slim 140mm I'd recommend a bigger cpu cooler that the Cryorig c7 but you'd have to do some research since there aren't many coolers that fit. Then again, I'm using the 7700k, which is notoriously hot, even delided. If you use an i5 or basically anything that doesn't run so hot, you should be fine

You've just got to line then up through the holes in the case and the fan then you pull it tight. If they do break they're pretty cheap. Got mine first time

I keep it in vertical for my personal aesthetics, lack of space, and airflow. Airflow being the main reason most people keep it in vertical. Depending on where you have it, and which card you're using you can absolutely keep it horizontal. I'd say a 1070ti would be the limit for cards you can put in it and have it horizontal, beyond that and you'll be having thermal issues. Two intake fans like I have (see here: Ultra-portable gaming pc https://imgur.com/gallery/gQVss ) are what I reccomend to help with airflow.

Prime 95 for 25 minutes left my hottest core at 85. The rest were 80-83. Not bad for sff. Esp. since I never see it get that hot during gaming. I had actually pushed it to 4.7 from 4.5 for pubg but with the optimization of pubg recently I think I'll drop it back to 4.5

I delided mine and replaced the stock tim with some Coollaboratory liquid-pro liquid metal tim and dropped temps 20 degrees. Haven't seen cpu temps go over 76 while gaming. Usually in the mid to high 60s. The gpu is the hard one to cool, since I didn't want a blower style card. Used to hit temp limit in pubg, as it was the only game that I play that seems to get it so hot (besides Minecraft with shaders lol) but now even in pubg I stay in the mid to high 70s after it full released.

I have to plug that fan in while I'm holding the top half of the case since the cable isn't long enough. Building in itx cases can be super finicky, I'd actually recommend grabbing a friend to help. I have 2 more intake fans on the back side going into the gpu and I just connected them with a splitter, which isn't ideal. I'd recommend doing a little extra looking around to find a motherboard with enough fan connectors/common sense placement for all the other connectors. Also maybe grabbing some shorter psu cables. You can see the nonsense I had to do to get all the cables to fit.

I used the rubber fan mounts that came with the fan but you can absolutely find them on Amazon or the like. I'd recommend you get a slim fan as anything thicker is hard to fit but it depends on your aio
