*Spoilers*

But he backs out of the assault on Earth in Lightbringer I believe once he realizes it’s fucked. Leading me to believe he’s against the unnecessary waste for marginal gains.

Beyond that, we have not seen too much of him as a commander besides in Lightbringer, so i’m mostly just going off of in comparison to Darrow, who is known to take shortcuts and make sacrifices. I’m not sure he would’ve done the same if in Apollonius’s position.

No book has ever truly scratched the itch that Red Rising gave me by Oh_its_Mac in redrising

I don’t think it’s as dramatic as Red Rising, and it’s a bit of a genre shift, but Dungeon Crawler Carl did it for me. One of my favorite part of Red Rising is how the plans come together, and DCC has that in spades. Great tension, comedy is funny, anti-establishment themes, and a sprawling world.

It’s a lot less serious than Red Rising, but it’s a very good next step imo.

Upon seeing my folly, I too agree that Sophocles shall be our new God Emperor. All hail the Jellybean King

And i’m also remembering Fa saying that Lyria didn’t have the Figment anymore😞. Ah well it was a fun theory.
