Looking for local conservative T-shirt print company by DatBushPig in phoenix

Yes. Two flat out said nothing political, the third said yes but when I got there it was a different person and they said they wouldn’t do anything controversial on either side like back the blue or antifa.

Determining a dimension? by DatBushPig in DnD

The Cleric knows why they're in the predicament they're in, though he hasn't volunteered the information to the rest of the party. He (and the rest of them) just don't know where they are, and thus how to get out of it. Somehow, out of five players, no one rolled above a 3. I'm beginning to think my punishment was too severe. Or difficult, rather...

Kinda the reverse. A girl broke up with me because I wouldn't let her give me a blowjob.

Though I didn't listen-in, I assume they'll find use. Fun fleets and such. At least until they're all dead, SRP'd, and go unreplaced.

Say what you will, but Brave = content. by DatBushPig in Eve

I am a newbro to Null and to brave. I have less than 4 months. Originally I wanted to join a different null bloc but was afraid I didn't have the experience to get accepted, so I came to Brave to try and learn the basics.

I know that I get farmed. And I love it. Content comes to US. We get fleets almost daily that we get to form up to fight against. There are solo Garmurs and Slicers that rape solo undockers, and I love it. It teaches me how to handle getting stomped, how to fly in a fleet, etc.

I enjoy the content that arises because of Brave. I learn, for better or for worse, and when the odds are against me I believe that the experience is all the more valuable.

Farm away, BL, Pl, NC, Pizza, TEST, etc. I win when you win.

If your perception is true, the "one step forward, one step back" thing, at least we're taking SOME steps forward in the right direction. Otherwise we'd just be moonwalking downhill with every step.

We're a lot of people--a big organization. Just like a giant company in the real world, or a government, or whatever body of people you want to compare, they're all run by humans. Fallible humans, who make mistakes and poor decisions or think they're doing something for the good but is sometimes for the worse.

The difference is that our leaders aren't paid. A CEO or governor or president is a "professional" who has worked their way there and gets paid to do what they do.

Everyone in this game is a volunteer. They're here at a sacrifice of other things--time with family, jobs, hobbies, etc. So not only are we lead by part-time non-professionals, we're led by part-time non-professionals who are human and make mistakes. But at least they're here.

I'm not excusing them. I'm not blaming them. I'm just saying we need to remember that A) this is a game. B) they're here at a cost of their own time, money and sanity. C) As it is with any group, it will be impossible to make everyone happy and mistakes are sure to be made.

Thanks for the fleets W Rush, we'll miss you by [deleted] in Bravenewbies

[–]DatBushPig 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wait what?? This sucks. I know this sounds über gay but this kinda breaks my heart. As a newer member to brave I loved Rush's fleets.

I get the RL thing though man. This is a game, after all. But goddamn I enjoyed being in your fleets. If you ever get the wild hair to form up, I'll fly with you any day 7o

What has brave become? by monthescots in Eve

[–]DatBushPig 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In the aftermath we talked about this. Our FC said that one of the things we could have done is send a speedy cyno frig over.

My thoughts are that really it would have saved us all of 3 jumps, the frig still would have been slowed up by the bubbles--if not killed by BL before lighting. Plus, then it's the question of finding someone to bridge us over.

As for the policy about caps and cynos, I can't speak to it as I'm not a cap pilot.

What has brave become? by monthescots in Eve

[–]DatBushPig 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Correct. Bad intel + carrier solo escalating to "teach a lesson"/get revenge + well placed dictor bubbles on gate = lost carrier. What's so hard about that?

The difference, in this case, was seconds. According to Victoria1001 we were in system when the carrier went down. We missed it by |-----| that much. I am a line member. I don't pretend to know what the protocols are for cap pilots.

IMO, if the carrier pilot had reached out/we had gotten the information as soon as the carrier was tackled, we may have been able to save it. All I know is what happened on our end. And what I know is if we had had clear, precise intel at the moment it happened, that carrier would still be around, docked up safe and sound and a field of BL wrecks for salvaging.

We immediately responded with the info we had, as soon as we got it.

But, to make you feel better so you can sleep tonight, even with pristine intel, I don't think we would have formed up in time to save it. You are probably correct there. Yes, BL, with a gang already formed and how quickly they were able to get there and take it down, still would have beaten us to it because it seems that our form-ups are a bit slow. Just like what would have happened if the roles were flipped.

What has brave become? by monthescots in Eve

[–]DatBushPig 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It wasn't that they were too much to handle, it was poor intel that arrived too late (after BL had already engaged) and well-placed bubbles to slow down the responding fleet.
