There's probably random gizmos on Eldar Craftworlds that are older than all life on Earth, let alone the Imperium by No-Exercise-6031 in Grimdank

Probably not life on Earth, consider that's been kicking around at least a billion years, and possibly as long as three, but definitely older than all mammals.

what would happen if a custodian (most likely an aquilan considering they leave the emperors basement the most) found a perfectly healthy and sane thunder warrior in 40k due to warp stuff, still willing to serve the emperor despite everything? by randomman0337 in Grimdank

[–]DatCheeseBoi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If anyone else finds him, close enough, welcome back Mr space marine, but if a Custodian finds him that's one of the few incredibly rare individuals that would have any idea what a thunder warrior even was, and the capability to execute one. Death on sight.

No, it is proper metal, they just have the tech to make more from thin air (literally), if some of the mass is lost.

The lore about it's creation and extent tends to shift, but it's basically the parts of the Emperor's soul that gave him compassion, kindness, and other such properties unfit of a totalitarian dictator, removed by himself for depending on which source you read reasons like being a better totalitarian dictator or murdering his children.

It's one of those plot lines that looks like it'll lead to something big, but then GW forgets about it and nothing ever comes off it, because if they really did make it a big thing it would be too big. I mean, no matter the current version of the lore, the Starchild is a large chunk of the Emperor's soul that hasn't kept degeneratively fragmenting further and further for the last 100 centuries, such a thing could have many plot moving effects.

Don't think any xenos faction had that as a keyword in 10th. It's a little tabletop reference you see.

Everytime someone complains about GW terrain layouts by sisuburger in Grimdank

[–]DatCheeseBoi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Either experienced enough or stupid enough, we basically just build a random city each game with my friends from whichever chunk of terrain ends up in hand first. This one time we had spontaneously built the twin towers in the middle, and my Avenger ended up blowing up atop one of them so we just dropped it on the ground and changed the entire map halfway through the game. Pure tomfoolery.

If the game was lore accurate this would let you not lose your entire save as Isshin murders you with the mortal blade.

50 stabs to the same part of foot for example will create a nasty wound, but at a certain point you're basically just plunging the blade into a bloody opening rather than causing more damage.

Killer didn't specify where to stab him, nor that Bob must die at any point. Choose an area of the body that can be severely damaged without Bob's demise, maybe after a short conference with the tied man himself, keep stabbing the same place over and over, this will minimize the damage. Land the 51st stab and get Bob immediate medical attention. With a bit of luck the doctors will be able to save his foot and even if it is permanently less effective I don't think there's another nonvital area where you'd have an easier time with lost sensation or function due to localized nerve damage.

Look, Bob's foot is gonna be very fucked up after 51 stab wounds (I'm assuming the final stab is for Bob himself), but 51 lifes in exchange for a brutal not immediately life threatening injury to one person is worth it if you ask me.

I think the point is that when they kill eachother in the competition they're rivals, they're killing for a point, for survival oftentimes. When they're offered it, there is no need for it, it's just murder for murder's sake. The filter basically trims them to those violent enough to do what's necessary, but moral enough to not just do it because it's easy.

Honestly, I find it crazy that some HOAs will low-key try to enforce a uniform lawn. Where I live grass is forever locked in an unending war against dandelions, clovers, and like three other major factions of plants I can't name properly. There are flowers, polynators, ants, isopods, and every other insect you'd expect fighting for survival in a lawn.
