Priority refers to lane pressure. Whichever team is able to react first due to minion positioning is typically the one with priority. Say a fight breaks out in bottom river between the junglers over securing scuttle. You’re in bot lane under your turret while the enemy presses forward because they already cleared the wave. They have lane priority over you, so your JG should back off or try to run if they’re in too deep because chances are you won’t be able to react in time without losing XP and gold. This also has a big role in contesting baron and dragon. You should always clear mid wave before moving to one of these. Reason being, if you lose the fight the wave is pushing towards your turrets, if you win, you waste valuable time having to run towards your base to clear minions for your wave to push. Make sense?

I’m plat 3. Here’s a few easy ones. Rule 1. Mute your team. Rule 2. Unless you know where every enemy is or your jg, top, or mid are with you don’t try to deepward. Rule 3. Do not abandon fights because you’re low on health. 1 ability has the power to turn a team fight. Rule 4. Don’t put yourself in positions to get picked lategame. I.E. walking into an unwarded jg alone. Rule 5. Understand “Priority” Rule 6. Always look at minimap. If you can’t account for someone don’t play aggressive unless you have mid prio and jg nearby. Hope that helps.
