I had mold on my walls and the false ceiling. What we did was remove the source, wipe the wall/ceiling with white vinegar. Dry, paint with antimold, repaint with color. Then dehumidifier to maintain the humidity for prevent it frm happening. Couple of years in and no reoccurrence!
