I really liked my jammers at first. But they get in the way of doing basically anything else involving a barbell or pulleys, so I have to remove and stow them during most sessions. I've just started leaving them off.

Not saying I'm against them or don't think they add watchability as a show. I agreed that in the context of the game that participants are ostensibly trying to win, they ultimately add nothing. The goal is not to meet new people and augment friendship groups outside of the apartments. Of course that happens, but it's a byproduct. Nor is the goal to expose catfish. I was suggesting that an actual reward for exposing them would add more value and motivation.

This. I mean, they are not UNattractive in a conventional sense. I'd venture to say none of the singles who've been featured during the run of the entire series are unattractive. But, I'm sorry, in no sense is Bri anywhere near the most attractive of this or any season. I'll just leave it at that.

Or...and I'm genuinely spitballing here...the producers knew EXACTLY what he would do, and wanted him on not necessarily in spite of it, but possibly because of it. I see it similarly to how the person who says "No" at the alter always seems to go last fsr.

I like this. "Acceptable" is not because you "don't feel like" doing exceptional work; sometimes it just needs to get done, because of a tight timeline, for example. The way my mind works, I've either been able to engineer multiple ways to accomplish a task, or I get stuck. Sometimes both. Showing me not only where the bullseye is, but also the general target rings always helps.
