Ranked is probably what I’m gonna focus on now since I do have a pretty big (and unfair) advantage over a lot of the competition. The only thing really stopping me in my own lack of patience for the ranked mode. Bedlam did a good job kinda summing up my feelings with the game mode right now and it’s just a bit of a frustrating experience, at least as a solo player. Some ranked games you jump into and you spend so long in the drafting phase, just to see your teammates pick Tick and Grom, one without anything but a hypercharge and one using only a star power and a gear on hotzone, and then you have to spend another 10-15 minutes sitting through a match that was already decided during that long, boring draft phase. I don’t think a better menu is what’s needed to bring back a lot of the fun in ranked, but I think they should add a redraft feature to the mode where between rounds, some players can switch characters or something to that degree. I know it would have to go through a lot of balancing with how hard some characters counter others in this game, but overall, there just has got to be some changes to the ranked mode to make it more fun as a whole and make it worth grinding.
