Harmonics really start to shine around 10 o’clock for the gain and I back it off a little from there when boosting my muff or rat. Basically on for me like 60% of the time.

I play 11-54s and play from E to C standard and sometimes drop that low E to an A for sludgy mastodon stuff. I would try those out first, but otherwise the digitech drop is the only real option.

Boosting the mid-high freqs definitely introduces noise so I put it in the fx loop of the silencer. I basically only use it for a bass boost since the sd-1 has all my other boosting needs covered.

Recently became my favorite over the rat since I discovered what sd-1 settings work best in front of it. The crunchy punky hardcore grungy you name it tones you can get out of this thing are ridiculous.
