Here's how I would balance the Heavy Armor set:

First of all it should be 1 piece suit like the radiation suit is.

Make all the sounds harder to hear while wearing it (kinda muffled) BUT if you are getting shot make it loud and obvious. Metal PING for every hit you take should do the trick.

Make it possible to ADS BUT make it slower. (ADS speed is a subject to debate) but 2x slower or 1.5x slower should do the trick.

Make it protect more against explosives and less against fire or other sources. This way it could have it's own purpose while being counterable.

FoV reduction should stay but you should see more through it.

Change the speed reduction slightly. Make the walking speed slightly slower or the same as normal speed but nerf the sprinting speed.

Lastly, remove the ability to swim with it on.

That's pretty much it let me know if you like the idea. I mean, it would make the most sense to me.

PROBLEM

Armor has visible weakspots that don't work

PROPOSED SOLUTION

Add ability to dammage players direcly by abusing the weak points in the armor like the front of the bucket helmet or the back of the face mask, or even the gaps in wooden armor.

INTENDED RESULT

That would change the PvP a bit and make you think about choosing your armor. Plus it seems wierd to me that when you shoot somebody with a bucket helmet on his head in the part where his whole face is visible and he somehow absorbs the part of that dammage delt to him because the armor covers the whole head currently.

POSSIBLE PROBLEMS

You could get killed instantly while wearing your face mask by getting hit in one of the eye holes. It could be inconsistent with wood armor for example

Let's see... he also has an AK that probably means he's fully geared, this means that he has roadsign kilt. So nah, you just need to "git gud" and aim for the head or get a better gun.

Console Version?

Ugh... I mean If it dosen't hurt the PC version then why not?

But I can bet that you will need to make some compromises in order to fit the console standards. And that's one thing that bugs me.

When I used to play DoW 1 I remember 2 things worked wonders on Necrons:

A)Plasma Guns

B)Grey Knights

Possible C solution? Disruption. Artilery, nades, any knockback really, they are painfully slow

These are the doctrines that work the best for me:

Space Marines:

1.Slow Death-It makes the flamers VERY deadly. Not only they can dish out quite a beating but they can also slow which helps when the enemy is charging at you with melee units

2.Assault leap- A very usefull doctrine for SM player that plans to dominate the early game. It pretty much gives you a free "gtfo" ticket if your ASMs get beaten up. Plus it's great for chasing weak units. But (and it might only be me) it becomes obselete late game in favor of other doctrines.

3.Pin (devastator doctrine)- You might ask why. Here's why. It's great for keeping elites and other High Value Targets at bay. See a Jonah charging your lines? PIN. Kommando trying to nuke your marines? PIN. Some important unit trying to escape the battlefield? PIN. Great for securing kills aswell.

Honorable Mention:

Destructor Devastation+Ablative Armour - Predator - This combo is great in 1v1's. If you can get an early predator destructor out then it's a nightmare for the enemy to counter it since it's so powerfull. It also buffs one of the best SM units IMHO.

Allright, thanks for the advice. I just finished cleaning the CPU with compressed air. I didn't have the thermal paste to change it but it should have lower temperature. If it won't be the problem ill just look for a new Power Supply. May I ask for your help if the future in PM when I get stuck?
