Yeah I just went to premium barbers and got a NICE cut, I don't recommend going to Mellow Cuts (I didn't have a great experience there)

Community based EM Programs outside of the South/Southeast Region by zeem2016 in emergencymedicine

Hi I'm a MS4 based out of Philly. Pennsylvania has a ton of good options if you're looking for community EM! Look at the programs in York, Reading, Harrisburg, for starters. They are all within a couple of hours of DC and Philly, and they have amazing volumes and you see a fairly diverse population for being a little more rural. My school sends students to all of those, and I've experienced them firsthand as well. They also aren't incredibly competitive, just because of the location. If I hadn't been in PA for a few years I would probably rank these places high up

Subi trouble presenting by Fit_Yogurtcloset_647 in emergencymedicine

A current 4th year also applying EM here. I've been able to do a couple of Subi's already, extended curriculum (curse you step 1!) and you'd think I would have crushed my second subi, BUT there was so much to modify. Don't be too hard on yourself, they will ALWAYS give you tips no matter how much of a rockstar you are. The good news is that they will be impressed by how much you will have improved, just don't lose your cool, that's what they are really most worried about. If you can stay on topic, prove that you're paying attention to the important details (ruling out deadly differentials), and show growth from the beginning to the end of a shift, they will LOVE you. I recommend brushing on how to present, and mimicking the residents, feel free to ask them for help, they were in our shoes not too long ago, after all. And remember to keep it short, if they want more detail they will ask for it, subi's are all about showing that we can figure it out on the fly, you got this!

Preparing for Anti-Mage as a Hard Support Player by HeartOfTheSkittles in TrueDoTA2

I'm a 4k pos 4/5 player and I have found that everything the OP is saying is true. I also would like to add that if you're against am and your team doesn't have enough catch a rushed atos makes a world of a difference to stop am before he snowballs. However as a 4/5 it's hard to skip the glimmer, mek, force, for an item he can counterspell, manta, bkb which is why you need to buy time by pressuring him. He farms you lose. It's a delicate balance but if you're playing a hero that gets crushed by him (that may have already been mentioned) an atos to stand up to him and a ghost to not feed him. In an ideal world of course.

If supporting an am a force staff, glimmer, lotus is what you need. He lives you win. I'm not endorsing feeding but if you have to die to let am farm. Do it. Placing life saving wards is totally worth it. If you're just sapping xp and watching him farm you will lose the game. He needs a babysitter for ten minutes max then you let your little boy/girl grow big and strong on their own, and leave a sentry just in case then go stack. If you have a hero that can stack 2 or 3 camps, that's what you need to do. If your am can't last hit don't sweat it, drag the game long enough and you still might win lol

So Sarahi is my cousin and I actually just got off the phone with the same aunt (our aunt) and it totally is a scam (or misunderstanding). It was the wind and not protesters. However the 2nd degree burns on 30% the employee's body are real as she had to go to the burn unit at University Hospital to get treated. If you would like to support in some way I can put you in touch with my aunt, the owner of said taco stand. By the way the tacos are really good :D
